לְדָוִ֗ד אֵ֝לֶ֗יךָ יְהוָ֗ה נַפְשִׁ֥י אֶשָּֽׂא׃
KJVA Psalm of David. Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.
Of David. To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul.
2
אֱלֹהַ֥י בְּךָ֣ בָטַחְתִּי֮ אַל אֵב֪וֹשָׁ֫ה אַל יַעַלְּצ֖וּ אוֹיְבַ֣י לִֽי׃
KJVO my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
O my God, in you I trust; let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me.

גַּ֤ם כָּל קֹ֗וֶּיךָ לֹ֣א יֵב֑וֹשׁוּ יֵ֝בֹ֗שׁוּ הַבּוֹגְדִ֥ים רֵיקָֽם׃
KJVYea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.
Indeed, none who wait for you shall be put to shame; they shall be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous.

דְּ֭רָכֶיךָ יְהוָ֣ה הוֹדִיעֵ֑נִי אֹ֝רְחוֹתֶ֗יךָ לַמְּדֵֽנִי׃
KJVShew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.
Make me to know your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths.

הַ֭דְרִיכֵנִי בַאֲמִתֶּ֥ךָ וְלַמְּדֵ֑נִי כִּי אַ֥תָּה אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׁעִ֣י אֽוֹתְךָ֗ קִ֝וִּ֗יתִי כָּל הַיּֽוֹם׃
KJVLead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.

זְכֹ֤ר רַחֲמֶ֣יךָ יְ֭הוָה וַחֲסָדֶ֑יךָ כִּ֥י מֵ֝עוֹלָ֗ם הֵֽמָּה׃
KJVRemember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.
Remember your mercy, O LORD, and your steadfast love, for they have been from of old.

חַטֹּ֤אות נְעוּרַ֗י וּפְשָׁעַ֥י אַל תִּזְכֹּ֑ר כְּחַסְדְּךָ֥ זְֽכָר לִ֗י אַתָּ֥ה לְמַ֖עַן טוּבְךָ֣ יְהוָֽה׃
KJVRemember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD.
Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for the sake of your goodness, O LORD!

ט֤וֹב וְיָשָׁ֨ר ׀ יְהוָ֗ה עַל כֵּ֤ן יוֹרֶ֥ה חַטָּאִ֗ים בַּדָּֽרֶךְ׃
KJVGood and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in the way.

יַדְרֵ֣ךְ עֲנָוִ֣ים בַּמִּשְׁפָּ֑ט וִ֝ילַמֵּ֗ד עֲנָוִ֥ים דַּרְכּֽוֹ׃
KJVThe meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way.

כָּל אָרְח֣וֹת יְ֭הוָה חֶ֣סֶד וֶאֱמֶ֑ת לְנֹצְרֵ֥י בְ֝רִית֗וֹ וְעֵדֹתָֽיו׃
KJVAll the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.

לְמַ֣עַן שִׁ֭מְךָ יְהוָ֑ה וְ֝סָלַחְתָּ֗ לַעֲוֹנִ֥י כִּי רַב הֽוּא׃
KJVFor thy name's sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.
For your name's sake, O LORD, pardon my guilt, for it is great.

מִי זֶ֣ה הָ֭אִישׁ יְרֵ֣א יְהוָ֑ה יוֹרֶ֥נּוּ בְּ֝דֶ֗רֶךְ יִבְחָֽר׃
KJVWhat man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.
Who is the man who fears the LORD? Him will he instruct in the way that he should choose.

נַ֭פְשׁוֹ בְּט֣וֹב תָּלִ֑ין וְ֝זַרְע֗וֹ יִ֣ירַשׁ אָֽרֶץ׃
KJVHis soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.
His soul shall abide in well-being, and his offspring shall inherit the land.

ס֣וֹד יְ֭הוָה לִֽירֵאָ֑יו וּ֝בְרִית֗וֹ לְהוֹדִיעָֽם׃
KJVThe secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.
The friendship of the LORD is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant.

עֵינַ֣י תָּ֭מִיד אֶל יְהוָ֑ה כִּ֥י ה֝֗וּא יוֹצִ֥יא מֵרֶ֗שֶׁת רַגְלָֽי׃
KJVMine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.
My eyes are ever toward the LORD, for he will pluck my feet out of the net.
16
פְּנֵה אֵלַ֣י וְחָנֵּ֑נִי כִּי יָחִ֖יד וְעָנִ֣י אָֽנִי׃
KJVTurn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.
Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted.

צָר֣וֹת לְבָבִ֣י הִרְחִ֑יבוּ מִ֝מְּצוּקוֹתַ֗י הוֹצִיאֵֽנִי׃
KJVThe troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.
The troubles of my heart are enlarged; bring me out of my distresses.

רְאֵ֣ה עָנְיִ֣י וַעֲמָלִ֑י וְ֝שָׂ֗א לְכָל חַטֹּאותָֽי׃
KJVLook upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.
Consider my affliction and my trouble, and forgive all my sins.
19
רְאֵה אוֹיְבַ֥י כִּי רָ֑בּוּ וְשִׂנְאַ֥ת חָ֝מָ֗ס שְׂנֵאֽוּנִי׃
KJVConsider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.
Consider how many are my foes, and with what violent hatred they hate me.
20
שָׁמְרָ֣ה נַ֭פְשִׁי וְהַצִּילֵ֑נִי אַל אֵב֖וֹשׁ כִּי חָסִ֣יתִי בָֽךְ׃
KJVO keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee.
Oh, guard my soul, and deliver me! Let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.
21
תֹּם וָיֹ֥שֶׁר יִצְּר֑וּנִי כִּ֖י קִ֝וִּיתִֽיךָ׃
KJVLet integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.
May integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you.
22
פְּדֵ֣ה אֱלֹהִ֣ים אֶת יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל מִ֝כֹּ֗ל צָרוֹתָֽיו׃
KJVRedeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.
