לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ עַל יְד֫וּת֥וּן מִזְמ֗וֹר לְדָוִֽד׃
KJVTo the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David.
To the choirmaster: according to Jeduthun. A Psalm of David.
2
אַ֣ךְ אֶל אֱלֹהִ֣ים דּ֭וּמִיָּ֣ה נַפְשִׁ֑י מִ֝מֶּ֗נּוּ יְשׁוּעָתִֽי׃
KJVTruly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.
For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation.

אַ֣ךְ ה֭וּא צ֣וּרִי וִישׁוּעָתִ֑י מִ֝שְׂגַּבִּ֗י לֹ אֶמּ֥וֹט רַבָּֽה׃
KJVHe only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken.

עַד אָ֤נָה ׀ תְּהוֹתְת֬וּ עַל אִ֗ישׁ תְּרָצְּח֥וּ כֻלְּכֶ֑ם כְּקִ֥יר נָ֝ט֗וֹ גָּדֵ֥ר הַדְּחוּיָֽה׃
KJVHow long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.
How long will all of you attack a man to batter him, like a leaning wall, a tottering fence?

אַ֤ךְ מִ֭שְּׂאֵתוֹ יָעֲצ֣וּ לְהַדִּ֑יחַ יִרְצ֥וּ כָזָ֗ב בְּפִ֥יו יְבָרֵ֥כוּ וּבְקִרְבָּ֥ם יְקַלְלֽוּ סֶֽלָה׃
KJVThey only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.
They only plan to thrust him down from his high position. They take pleasure in falsehood. They bless with their mouths, but inwardly they curse. Selah

אַ֣ךְ לֵ֭אלֹהִים דּ֣וֹמִּי נַפְשִׁ֑י כִּ֥י מִ֝מֶּ֗נּוּ תִּקְוָתִֽי׃
KJVMy soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him.

אַ֤ךְ ה֣וּא צ֭וּרִי וִישׁוּעָתִ֑י מִ֝שְׂגַּבִּ֗י לֹ֣א אֶמּֽוֹט׃
KJVHe only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken.

עַל אֱלֹהִ֗ים יִשְׁעִ֥י וּכְבוֹדִ֑י צ֥וּר עֻ֝זִּ֗י מַחְסִ֥י בֵֽאלֹהִֽים׃
KJVIn God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God.

בִּטְח֣וּ ב֭וֹ בְּכָל עֵ֑ת עָ֤ם שִׁפְכ֥וּ לְ֝פָנָ֗יו לְבַבְכֶ֗ם אֱלֹהִ֗ים מַ֥חֲסֶה לָ֗נוּ סֶֽלָה׃
KJVTrust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Selah

אַ֤ךְ הֶ֥בֶל בְּנֵ֗י אָדָם כָּ֣זָב בְּנֵ֣י אִ֑ישׁ בְּמֹ֥אזְנַ֗יִם לַ֗עֲל֗וֹת הֵ֣מָּה מֵהֶ֣בֶל יָֽחַד׃
KJVSurely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.
Those of low estate are but a breath; those of high estate are a delusion; in the balances they go up; they are together lighter than a breath.

אַל תִּבְטְח֣וּ בְ֭עֹשֶׁק וּבְגָזֵ֣ל אַל תֶּהְבָּ֑לוּ חַ֤יִל כִּ֥י יָנ֗וּב אַל תָּשִׁ֥יתוּ לֵֽב׃
KJVTrust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.
Put no trust in extortion; set no vain hopes on robbery; if riches increase, set not your heart on them.

אַחַ֤ת ׀ דִּבֶּ֬ר אֱלֹהִ֗ים שְׁתַּ֣יִם ז֭וּ שָׁמַ֑עְתִּי כִּ֥י עֹ֝֗ז לֵאלֹהִֽים׃
KJVGod hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.
Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God,

וּלְךָ אֲדֹנָ֥י חָ֑סֶד כִּ֤י אַתָּ֗ה תְּשַׁלֵּ֥ם לְאִ֗ישׁ כְּמַעֲשֵֽׂהוּ׃
KJVAlso unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
and that to you, O Lord, belongs steadfast love. For you will render to a man according to his work.
