לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ עַֽל הַגִּתִּ֥ית לִ֫בְנֵ֥י קֹ֭רַח מִזְמֽוֹר׃

KJVTo the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm for the sons of Korah.

To the choirmaster: according to The Gittith. A Psalm of the Sons of Korah.

מַה יְּדִיד֥וֹת מִשְׁכְּנוֹתֶ֗יךָ יְהוָ֥ה צְבָאֽוֹת׃

KJVHow amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!

How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD of hosts!

נִכְסְפָ֣ה וְגַם כָּלְתָ֗ה נַפְשִׁי֮ לְחַצְר֪וֹת יְהוָ֫ה לִבִּ֥י וּבְשָׂרִ֑י יְרַנְּנ֥וּ אֶל אֵ֣ל חָֽי׃

KJVMy soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

My soul longs, yes, faints for the courts of the LORD; my heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God.

גַּם צִפּ֗וֹר מָ֥צְאָה בַ֗יִת וּדְרוֹר֮ קֵ֤ן לָ֗הּ אֲשֶׁ֬ר שָׁ֘תָ֤ה אֶפְרֹחֶ֗יהָ אֶת מִזְבְּחוֹתֶ֗יךָ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֣וֹת מַלְכִּ֣י וֵאלֹהָֽי׃

KJVYea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.

Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, at your altars, O LORD of hosts, my King and my God.

אַשְׁרֵ֥י יוֹשְׁבֵ֥י בֵיתֶ֑ךָ ע֝֗וֹד יְהַלְל֥וּךָ סֶֽלָה׃

KJVBlessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.

Blessed are those who dwell in your house, ever singing your praise! Selah

אַ֭שְׁרֵי אָדָ֣ם ע֣וֹז ל֑וֹ בָּ֝ךְ מְסִלּ֗וֹת בִּלְבָבָֽם׃

KJVBlessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.

Blessed are those whose strength is in you, in whose heart are the highways to Zion.

עֹ֭בְרֵי בְּעֵ֣מֶק הַבָּכָ֑א מַ֘עְיָ֤ן יְשִׁית֗וּהוּ גַּם בְּרָכ֥וֹת יַעְטֶ֗ה מוֹרֶֽה׃

KJVWho passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

As they go through the Valley of Baca they make it a place of springs; the early rain also covers it with pools.

יֵֽלְכ֥וּ מֵחַ֗יִל אֶל חָ֑יִל יֵרָאֶ֖ה אֶל אֱלֹהִ֣ים בְּצִיּֽוֹן׃

KJVThey go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

They go from strength to strength; each one appears before God in Zion.

יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהִ֣ים צְבָא֑וֹת שִׁ֘מְעָ֤ה תְפִלָּתִ֗י הַאֲזִינָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵ֗י יַעֲקֹ֗ב סֶֽלָה׃

KJVO LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.

O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer; give ear, O God of Jacob! Selah

מָגִנֵּ֥נוּ רְאֵ֣ה אֱלֹהִ֑ים וְ֝הַבֵּ֗ט פְּנֵ֣י מְשִׁיחֶֽךָ׃

KJVBehold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.

Behold our shield, O God; look on the face of your anointed!

כִּ֤י ט֥וֹב י֥וֹם בַּחֲצֵרֶ֗יךָ מֵאָ֫לֶ֥ף בָּחַ֥רְתִּי הִסְתּוֹפֵ֑ף בְּבֵ֥ית אֱ֝לֹהַ֗י מִדּ֥וּר בְּאָהֳלֵי רֶֽשַׁע׃

KJVFor a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.

כִּ֤י שֶׁ֨מֶשׁ ׀ וּמָגֵן֮ יְהוָ֪ה אֱלֹ֫הִ֥ים חֵ֣ן וְכָב֣וֹד יִתֵּ֥ן יְהוָ֑ה לֹ֥א יִ֝מְנַ֗ע ט֥וֹב לַהֹלְכִ֣ים בְּתָמִֽים׃

KJVFor the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly.

יְהוָ֣ה צְ֭בָאוֹת אַשְׁרֵ֣י אָדָ֑ם בֹּטֵ֥חַ בָּֽךְ׃

KJVO LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

O LORD of hosts, blessed is the one who trusts in you!
