Numbers 2:33

וְהַלְוִיִּם לֹא הִתְפָּקְדוּ בְּתוֹךְ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת מֹשֶׁה

The Levites, however, were not counted along with the other Israelites, as the LORD commanded Moses
