וְלִבְנֵ֣י יִשָּׂשכָ֗ר תּוֹלָ֤ע וּפוּאָה֙ יָשׁ֔וּב וְשִׁמְר֑וֹן אַרְבָּעָֽה׃

KJVNow the sons of Issachar were, Tola, and Puah, Jashub, and Shimron, four.

The sons of Issachar: Tola, Puah, Jashub, and Shimron, four.

וּבְנֵ֣י תוֹלָ֡ע עֻזִּי֩ וּרְפָיָ֨ה וִירִיאֵ֜ל וְיַחְמַ֤י וְיִבְשָׂם֙ וּשְׁמוּאֵ֔ל רָאשִׁ֖ים לְבֵ֣ית אֲבוֹתָ֑ם לְתוֹלָ֨ע גִּבּ֤וֹרֵי חַ֙יִל֙ לְתֹלְד֣וֹתָ֔ם מִסְפָּרָ֕ם בִּימֵ֥י דָוִ֖יד עֶשְׂרִ֥ים וּשְׁנַ֥יִם אָֽלֶף׃

KJVAnd the sons of Tola; Uzzi, and Rephaiah, and Jeriel, and Jahmai, and Jibsam, and Shemuel, heads of their father's house, to wit, of Tola: they were valiant men of might in their generations; whose number was in the days of David two and twenty thousand and six hundred.

The sons of Tola: Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam, and Shemuel, heads of their fathers' houses. The sons of Tola were mighty warriors of their generations; their number in the days of David was 22,600.

וּבְנֵ֣י עֻזִּ֔י יִזְרַחְיָ֑ה וּבְנֵ֣י יִזְרַחְיָ֗ה מִיכָאֵ֤ל וְעֹבַדְיָה֙ וְיוֹאֵ֣ל יִשִּׁיָּ֔ה חֲמִשָּׁ֖ה כֻּלָּ֥ם רָאשִֽׁים׃

KJVAnd the sons of Uzzi; Izrahiah: and the sons of Izrahiah; Michael, and Obadiah, and Joel, Ishiah, five: all of them chief men.

And the son of Uzzi: Izrahiah. And the sons of Izrahiah: Michael, Obadiah, Joel, and Isshiah, five, all of them chief men.

וַעֲלֵיהֶ֨ם לְתֹלְד֤וֹתָם לְבֵית אֲבוֹתָ֗ם גְּד֣וּדֵי צְבָ֣א מִלְחָמָ֗ה שְׁלֹשִׁ֤ים וְשִׁשָּׁה֙ אֶ֔לֶף כִּֽי הִרְבּ֥וּ נָשִׁ֖ים וּבָנִֽים׃

KJVAnd with them, by their generations, after the house of their fathers, were bands of soldiers for war, six and thirty thousand men: for they had many wives and sons.

And their kinsmen belonging to all the clans of Issachar were in all 87,000 mighty warriors, enrolled by genealogy.

וַאֲחֵיהֶ֤ם לְכֹ֣ל מִשְׁפְּחוֹת֙ יִשָּׂשכָ֔ר גִּבּ֖וֹרֵי חֲיָלִ֑ים שְׁמוֹנִ֣ים וְשִׁבְעָ֣ה אָ֣לֶף הַֽמִּתְיַחֲשִׂ֖ים בַּכֹּֽל׃

KJVAnd their brethren among all the families of Issachar were valiant men of might, reckoned in all by their genealogies fourscore and seven thousand.

And their kinsmen belonging to all the clans of Issachar were in all 87,000 mighty warriors enrolled by genealogy.

בִּנְיָמִ֖ן בֶּ֥לַע וָבֶ֖כֶר וִידִיעַאֵ֥ל שְׁלֹשָֽׁה׃

The sons of Benjamin: Bela, Becher, and Jediael, three.

וּבְנֵ֣י בֶ֗לַע אֶצְבּ֤וֹן וְעֻזִּי֙ וְעֻזִּיאֵ֔ל וִירִימ֖וֹת וְעִ֑ירִי חֲמִשָּׁ֗ה רָאשֵׁ֤י בֵית אֲבוֹת֙ גִּבּ֣וֹרֵי חֲיָלִ֔ים וְהַמִּתְיַחֲשִׂ֖ים עֶשְׂרִ֥ים וּשְׁנַ֥יִם אָֽלֶף׃

KJVAnd the sons of Bela; Ezbon, and Uzzi, and Uzziel, and Jerimoth, and Iri, five; heads of the house of their fathers, mighty men of valour; and were reckoned by their genealogies twenty and two thousand and thirty and four.

The sons of Bela: Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jerimoth, and Iri, five, heads of fathers' houses, mighty warriors. Their enrollment was 22,034.

וּבְנֵ֣י בֶכֶ֗ר זְמִירָ֤ה וְיוֹעָשׁ֙ וֶאֱלִיעֶ֣זֶר וְאֶלְיוֹעֵינַ֔י וְעָמְרִ֥י וִירֵמ֖וֹת וַאֲבִיָּ֥ה וַעֲנָת֑וֹת וַעֲלֶ֖מֶת כָּל אֵ֖לֶּה בְּנֵ֥י בֶֽכֶר׃

KJVAnd the sons of Becher; Zemira, and Joash, and Eliezer, and Elioenai, and Omri, and Jerimoth, and Abiah, and Anathoth, and Alameth. All these are the sons of Becher.

The sons of Becher: Zemirah, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jeremoth, Abijah, Anathoth, and Alemeth. All these were the sons of Becher.

וְהִתְיַחֲשָׂ֞ם לְתֹלְד֣וֹתָם רָאשֵׁ֗י בֵּ֤ית אֲבוֹתָם֙ גִּבּ֣וֹרֵי חָ֔יִל עֶשְׂרִ֥ים אֶ֖לֶף וּמָאתָֽיִם׃

KJVAnd the number of them, after their genealogy by their generations, heads of the house of their fathers, mighty men of valour, was twenty thousand and two hundred.

Their enrollment by genealogies, according to their generations, as heads of their fathers' houses, mighty warriors, was 20,200.

וּבֶן יְדִיעַאֵ֖ל בִּלְהָ֑ן וּבְנֵ֣י בִלְהָ֗ן יְעוּשׁ֙ וּבִנְיָמִ֣ן וְאֵה֔וּד וּכְנַעֲנָ֤ה וְזֵיתָן֙ וְתַרְשִׁ֔ישׁ וַאֲחִישָׁהַֽר׃

KJVThe sons also of Jediael; Bilhan: and the sons of Bilhan; Jeush, and Benjamin, and Ehud, and Chenaanah, and Zethan, and Tharshish, and Ahishahar.

The son of Jediael: Bilhan. And the sons of Bilhan: Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Chenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish, and Ahishahar.

כָּל אֵ֛לֶּה בְּנֵ֥י יְדִיעַאֵ֖ל לְרָאשֵׁ֣י הָאָב֑וֹת גִּבּ֣וֹרֵי חָ֗יִל שִׁבְעָ֥ה עָשָׂ֛ר אֶ֖לֶף וּמָאתַ֑יִם יֹצְאֵ֖י הַצָּבָ֥א לַמִּלְחָמָֽה׃

KJVAll these the sons of Jediael, by the heads of their fathers, mighty men of valour, were seventeen thousand and two hundred soldiers, fit to go out for war and battle.

All these were the sons of Jediael according to the heads of their fathers' houses, mighty warriors, 17,200, able to go to war.

וְשֻׁפִּ֥ים וְחֻפִּ֖ים בְּנֵ֣י עִ֑יר חֻשִׁ֥ים בְּנֵ֖י אַחֵ֥ר׃

KJVShuppim also, and Huppim, the children of Ir, and Hushim, the sons of Aher.

And Shuppim and Huppim were the sons of Ir, Hushim the son of Aher.

בְּנֵ֣י נַפְתָּלִ֗י יַחֲצִיאֵ֤ל וְגוּנִי֙ וְיֵ֣צֶר וְשַׁלֻּ֔ם בְּנֵ֖י בִּלְהָֽה׃

KJVThe sons of Naphtali; Jahziel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shallum, the sons of Bilhah.

The sons of Naphtali: Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, and Shallum, the sons of Bilhah.

בְּנֵ֣י מְנַשֶּׁ֔ה אַסְרִיאֵ֕ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר יָלְדָ֖ה פִּֽילַגְשׁ֑וֹ הָאֲרַמִּ֗ית יָלְדָה֙ אֶת מָכִ֔יר אֲבִ֥י גִלְעָ֖ד׃

KJVThe sons of Manasseh; Ashriel, whom she bare: (but his concubine the Aramitess bare Machir the father of Gilead:

The sons of Manasseh: Asriel, whom his Aramean concubine bore; she bore Machir the father of Gilead.

וּמָכִ֗יר לָקַח֙ אִשָּׁ֣ה לְחֻפִּ֔ים וּלְשֻׁפִּ֔ים וְשֵׁ֥ם אֲחֹת֖וֹ מַעֲכָ֑ה וְשֵׁ֥ם הַשֵּׁנִ֖י צְלָפְחָ֑ד וַיִּהְי֥וּ לִצְלָפְחָ֖ד בָּנֽוֹת׃

KJVAnd Machir took to wife the sister of Huppim and Shuppim, whose sister's name was Maachah;) and the name of the second was Zelophehad: and Zelophehad had daughters.

And Machir took a wife for Huppim and for Shuppim. The name of his sister was Maacah. And the name of the second was Zelophehad, and Zelophehad had daughters.

וַתֵּ֤לֶד מַעֲכָה֙ אֵ֣שֶׁת מָכִ֔יר בֵּ֖ן וַתִּקְרָ֣א שְׁמ֣וֹ פֶ֑רֶשׁ וְשֵׁ֥ם אָחִ֖יו שֶֽׁרֶשׁ וּבָנָ֥יו אוּלָ֖ם וָרָֽקֶם׃

KJVAnd Maachah the wife of Machir bare a son, and she called his name Peresh; and the name of his brother was Sheresh; and his sons were Ulam and Rakem.

And Maacah the wife of Machir bore a son, and she called his name Peresh; and the name of his brother was Sheresh; and his sons were Ulam and Rakem.

וּבְנֵ֣י אוּלָ֔ם בְּדָ֖ן אֵ֣לֶּה בְּנֵי גִלְעָ֑ד בֶּן מָכִ֕יר בֶּן מְנַשֶּֽׁה׃

KJVAnd the sons of Ulam; Bedan. These were the sons of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh.

The son of Ulam: Bedan. These were the sons of Gilead, the son of Machir, son of Manasseh.

18

וַאֲחֹת֖וֹ הַמֹּלֶ֑כֶת יָלְדָ֥ה אֶת אִישְׁה֖וֹד וְאֶת אֲבִיעֶ֥זֶר וְאֶת מַחְלָֽה׃

KJVAnd his sister Hammoleketh bare Ishod, and Abiezer, and Mahalah.

And his sister Hammolecheth bore Ishhod, Abiezer, and Mahlah.

19

וַיִּהְי֥וּ בְנֵי שְׁמִידָ֖ע אַחְיָ֥ן וְשֶׁ֖כֶם וְלִקְחִ֥י וַאֲנִיעָֽם׃

KJVAnd the sons of Shemida were, Ahian, and Shechem, and Likhi, and Aniam.

The sons of Shemida were Ahian, Shechem, Likhi, and Aniam.

20

וּבְנֵ֣י אֶפְרַ֔יִם שׁוּתֶ֥לַח וּבֶ֖רֶד בְּנ֑וֹ וְתַ֤חַת בְּנ֙וֹ֙ וְאֶלְעָדָ֣ה בְנ֔וֹ וְתַ֥חַת בְּנ֑וֹ׃

KJVAnd the sons of Ephraim; Shuthelah, and Bered his son, and Tahath his son, and Eladah his son, and Tahath his son,

The sons of Ephraim: Shuthelah, and Bered his son, Tahath his son, Eleadah his son, Tahath his son,

21

וְזָבָ֥ד בְּנ֖וֹ וְשׁוּתֶ֣לַח בְּנ֑וֹ וְעֵזֶ֗ר וְאֶלְעָד֙ וַהֲרָג֣וּם אַנְשֵׁי גַ֔ת הַנּוֹלָדִ֖ים בָּאָ֑רֶץ כִּ֥י יָרְד֖וּ לָקַ֥חַת אֶת מִקְנֵיהֶֽם׃

KJVAnd Zabad his son, and Shuthelah his son, and Ezer, and Elead, whom the men of Gath that were born in that land slew, because they came down to take away their cattle.

Zabad his son, Shuthelah his son, and Ezer and Elead, whom the men of Gath who were born in the land killed, because they came down to raid their livestock.

22

וַיִּתְאַבֵּ֨ל אֶפְרַ֧יִם אֲבִיהֶ֛ם יָמִ֥ים רַבִּ֖ים וַיָּבֹ֣אוּ אֶחָ֑יו לְנַחֲמֽוֹ׃

KJVAnd Ephraim their father mourned many days, and his brethren came to comfort him.

And Ephraim their father mourned many days, and his brothers came to comfort him.

23

וַיָּבֹ֖א אֶל אִשְׁתּ֑וֹ וַתַּ֣הַר וַתֵּ֣לֶד בֵּ֗ן וַיִּקְרָ֤א אֶת שְׁמוֹ֙ בְּרִיעָ֔ה כִּ֥י בְרָעָ֖ה הָיְתָ֥ה בְּבֵיתֽוֹ׃

KJVAnd when he went in to his wife, she conceived, and bare a son, and he called his name Beriah, because it went evil with his house.

And Ephraim went in to his wife, and she conceived and bore a son. And he called his name Beriah, because disaster had befallen his house.

24

וּבִתּ֖וֹ שֶׁ֣אֱרָ֑ה וַתִּ֤בֶן אֶת בֵּ֙ית חוֹרֹ֔ן הַתַּחְתּ֗וֹן וְאֶת הָ֨עֶלְי֔וֹן וְאֵ֖ת אֻזֵּ֥ן שֶׁאֱרָֽה׃

KJVAnd his daughter was Sherah, who built Bethhoron the nether, and the upper, and Uzzensherah.

His daughter was Sheerah, who built both Lower and Upper Beth-horon, and Uzzen-sheerah.

25

וָרֶ֥פַח בְּנ֖וֹ וְרֶשֶׁ֑ף וְתֶ֥לַח בְּנ֑וֹ וְתַחַ֖ן בְּנֽוֹ׃

KJVAnd Rephah was his son, also Resheph, and Telah his son, and Tahan his son,

לַעְדָּ֥ן בְּנ֑וֹ עַמִּיה֖וּד בְּנ֑וֹ אֱלִישָׁמָ֖ע בְּנֽוֹ׃

27

נ֥וֹן בְּנ֖וֹ יְהוֹשֻׁ֥עַ בְּנֽוֹ׃

KJVNon his son, Jehoshuah his son.

28

וַאֲחֻזָּתָ֣ם וּמֽוֹשְׁבֹתָ֗ם בֵּֽית אֵ֗ל וּבְנֹתֶ֤יהָ וְלַמִּזְרָח֙ נַעֲרָ֣ן וְלַמַּעֲרָ֗ב גֶּ֤זֶר וּבְנֹתֶ֙יהָ֙ וּשְׁכֶ֣ם וּבְנֹתֶ֔יהָ עַד עַזָּ֖ה וּבְנֹתֶֽיהָ׃

KJVAnd their possessions and habitations were, Bethel and the towns thereof, and eastward Naaran, and westward Gezer, with the towns thereof; Shechem also and the towns thereof, unto Gaza and the towns thereof:

Their possessions and settlements were Bethel and its towns, and to the east Naaran, and to the west Gezer and its towns, Shechem and its towns, and Ayyah and its towns.

29

וְעַל יְדֵ֣י בְנֵי מְנַשֶּׁ֔ה בֵּית שְׁאָ֥ן וּבְנֹתֶ֖יהָ תַּעְנַ֥ךְ וּבְנֹתֶ֑יהָ מְגִדּ֣וֹ וּבְנֹתֶ֔יהָ דֹּ֥ר וּבְנֹתֶ֖יהָ בָּאֵ֥לֶּה יָשְׁב֧וּ בְנֵי יוֹסֵ֛ף בֶּן יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

KJVAnd by the borders of the children of Manasseh, Bethshean and her towns, Taanach and her towns, Megiddo and her towns, Dor and her towns. In these dwelt the children of Joseph the son of Israel.

Along the borders of Manasseh, Beth-shean and its towns, Taanach and its towns, Megiddo and its towns, Dor and its towns. In these lived the sons of Joseph the son of Israel.

בְּנֵ֣י אָשֵׁ֗ר יִמְנָ֥ה וְיִשְׁוָ֖ה וְיִשְׁוִ֣י וּבְרִיעָ֑ה וְשֶׂ֥רַח אֲחוֹתָ֖ם׃

KJVThe sons of Asher; Imnah, and Isuah, and Ishuai, and Beriah, and Serah their sister:

The sons of Asher: Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi, Beriah, and Serah their sister.

31

וּבְנֵ֣י בְרִיעָ֗ה חֶ֤בֶר וּמַלְכִּיאֵ֙ל֙ ה֣וּא אֲבִ֣י בִרְזָ֑יִת׃

KJVAnd the sons of Beriah; Heber, and Malchiel, who is the father of Birzavith.

The sons of Beriah: Heber and Malchiel, who was the father of Birzaith.

32

וְחֶ֣בֶר הוֹלִ֔יד אֶת יַפְלֵ֥ט וְאֶת שׁוֹמֵ֖ר וְאֶת חוֹתָ֑ם וְאֵ֖ת שׁוּעָ֥א אֲחוֹתָֽם׃

KJVAnd Heber begat Japhlet, and Shomer, and Hotham, and Shua their sister.

Heber fathered Japhlet, Shomer, Hotham, and Shua their sister.

33

וּבְנֵ֣י יַפְלֵ֔ט פָּסַ֥ךְ וּבִמְהָ֖ל וְעַשְׁוָ֑ת אֵ֖לֶּה בְּנֵ֥י יַפְלֵֽט׃

KJVAnd the sons of Japhlet; Pasach, and Bimhal, and Ashvath. These are the children of Japhlet.

The sons of Japhlet: Pasach, Bimhal, and Ashvath. These are the sons of Japhlet.

וּבְנֵ֣י שֶׁ֔מֶר אֲחִ֥י וְרֹהְגָ֖ה יְחֻבָּ֥ה וַאֲרָֽם׃

KJVAnd the sons of Shamer; Ahi, and Rohgah, Jehubbah, and Aram.

The sons of Shomer: Ahi, Rohgah, Hubbah, and Aram.

35

וּבְנֵ֣י הֶ֗לֶם אָחִ֥יו צוֹפַ֛ח וְיִמְנָ֥ע וְשֵׁ֖לֶשׁ וַעֲמָֽל׃

KJVAnd the sons of his brother Helem; Zophah, and Imna, and Shelesh, and Amal.

The sons of Hotham his brother: Zophah, Imna, Shelesh, and Amal.

36

בְּנֵ֣י צוֹפַ֗ח סוּ֤חַ וְחַרְנֶ֙פֶר֙ וְשׁוּעָ֣ל וּבֵרִ֔י וְיִמְרָֽה׃

KJVThe sons of Zophah; Suah, and Harnepher, and Shual, and Beri, and Imrah,

37

בֶּ֙צֶר֙ וְהֹ֣ד וְשַׁמָּ֔א וְשִׁלְשָׁ֥ה וְיִתְרָ֖ן וּבְאֵרָֽא׃

KJVBezer, and Hod, and Shamma, and Shilshah, and Ithran, and Beera.

38

וּבְנֵ֣י יֶ֔תֶר יְפֻנֶּ֥ה וּפִסְפָּ֖ה וְאָרָֽא׃

KJVAnd the sons of Jether; Jephunneh, and Pispah, and Ara.

The sons of Jether: Jephunneh, Pispa, and Ara.

39

וּבְנֵ֣י עֻלָּ֔א אָרַ֥ח וְחַנִּיאֵ֖ל וְרִצְיָֽא׃

KJVAnd the sons of Ulla; Arah, and Haniel, and Rezia.

The sons of Ulla: Arah, Hanniel, and Rizia.

40

כָּל אֵ֣לֶּה בְּנֵי אָשֵׁ֗ר רָאשֵׁ֨י בֵ֤ית אָב֙וֹת בְּרוּרֵ֣י גִבּוֹרֵ֣י חַ֔יִל רָאשֵׁ֖י הַנְּשִׂיאִ֑ים וְהַמִּתְיַחֲשִׂ֣ים בַּצָּבָ֗א בַּמִּלְחָמָ֔ה מִסְפָּרָ֕ם אֲנָשִׁ֕ים עֶשְׂרִ֥ים וְשִׁשָּׁ֖ה אָֽלֶף׃

KJVAll these were the children of Asher, heads of their father's house, choice and mighty men of valour, chief of the princes. And the number throughout the genealogy of them that were apt to the war and to battle was twenty and six thousand men.

All of these were the sons of Asher, heads of fathers' houses, approved, mighty warriors, chief of the princes. Their number enrolled by genealogies for service in war was 26,000 men.
