הַ֥לְלוּ יָ֨הּ ׀ אַשְׁרֵי אִ֭ישׁ יָרֵ֣א אֶת יְהוָ֑ה בְּ֝מִצְוֹתָ֗יו חָפֵ֥ץ מְאֹֽד׃

KJVPraise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who greatly delights in his commandments!

גִּבּ֣וֹר בָּ֭אָרֶץ יִהְיֶ֣ה זַרְע֑וֹ דּ֭וֹר יְשָׁרִ֣ים יְבֹרָֽךְ׃

KJVHis seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

His offspring will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.

ה֣וֹן וָ֭עֹשֶׁר בְּבֵית֑וֹ וְ֝צִדְקָת֗וֹ עֹמֶ֥דֶת לָעַֽד׃

KJVWealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever.

זָרַ֣ח בַּ֭חֹשֶׁךְ א֣וֹר לַיְשָׁרִ֑ים חַנּ֥וּן וְרַח֗וּם וְצַדִּֽיק׃

KJVUnto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

Light dawns in the darkness for the upright; he is gracious, merciful, and righteous.

ט֤וֹב אִ֗ישׁ חוֹנֵ֥ן וּמַלְוֶ֑ה יְכַלְכֵּ֥ל דְּ֝בָרָ֗יו בְּמִשְׁפָּֽט׃

KJVA good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

It is well with the man who deals generously and lends; who conducts his affairs with justice.

כִּי לְ֭עוֹלָם לֹ֣א יִמּ֑וֹט לְ֝זֵ֗כֶר עוֹלָ֥ם יִהְיֶ֗ה צַדִּֽיק׃

KJVSurely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

For the righteous will never be moved; he will be remembered forever.

מִשְּׁמוּעָ֣ה רָ֭עָה לֹ֣א יִירָ֑א נָכ֥וֹן לִ֝בּ֗וֹ בָּטֻ֥חַ בַּיהוָֽה׃

KJVHe shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the LORD.

סָמ֣וּךְ לִ֭בּוֹ לֹ֣א יִירָ֑א עַ֝֗ד אֲשֶׁ֤ר יִרְאֶ֖ה בְצָרָֽיו׃

KJVHis heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

His heart is steady; he will not be afraid, until he looks in triumph on his adversaries.

פִּזַּ֗ר נָ֘תַ֤ן לָאֶבְיוֹנִ֗ים צִדְקָת֥וֹ עֹמֶ֗דֶת לָ֫עַ֥ד קַרְנ֗וֹ תָּר֥וּם בְּכָבֽוֹד׃

KJVHe hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

He has distributed freely; he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn is exalted in honor.

רָשָׁ֤ע יִרְאֶ֣ה וְ֭כָעָס שִׁנָּ֣יו יַחֲרֹ֑ק וְנָמָ֗ס תַּאֲוַ֥ת רְשָׁעִ֗ים תֹּאבֵֽד׃

KJVThe wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

The wicked man sees it and is angry; he gnashes his teeth and melts away; the desire of the wicked will perish!
