אָ֭הַבְתִּי כִּ֥י יִשְׁמַ֗ע יְהוָ֗ה אֶת ק֣וֹלִי תַחֲנוּנָֽי׃

KJVI love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.

I love the LORD, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy.

כִּֽי הִטָּ֥ה אָזְנ֗וֹ לִ֗י וּבְיָ֗מַי אֶקְרָֽא׃

KJVBecause he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.

Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.

אֲפָפ֥וּנִי חֶ֗בְלֵי מָ֫וֶת וּמְצָרֵ֥י שְׁא֗וֹל מְצָא֗וּנִי צָרָ֗ה וְיָג֗וֹן אֶמְצָֽא׃

KJVThe sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.

The snares of death encompassed me; the pangs of Sheol laid hold on me; I suffered distress and anguish.

וּבְשֵׁ֣ם יְ֭הוָה אֶקְרָ֑א אָ֝נָּ֗ה יְהוָ֘ה מַלְּטָ֥ה נַפְשִֽׁי׃

KJVThen called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

Then I called on the name of the LORD: O LORD, I pray, deliver my soul!

חַנּ֣וּן יְ֭הוָה וְצַדִּ֑יק וֵ֝אלֹהֵ֗ינוּ מְרַחֵֽם׃

KJVGracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; our God is merciful.

שֹׁמֵ֥ר פְּתָאיִ֗ם יְ֫הוָ֥ה דַּלֹּ֥תִי וְלִ֗י יְהוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃

KJVThe LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

The LORD preserves the simple; when I was brought low, he saved me.

שׁ֣וּבִי נַ֭פְשִׁי לִמְנוּחָ֑יְכִי כִּ֥י יְ֝הוָ֗ה גָּמַ֥ל עָלָֽיְכִי׃

KJVReturn unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.

Return, O my soul, to your rest; for the LORD has dealt bountifully with you.

כִּ֤י חִלַּ֣צְתָּ נַ֭פְשִׁי מִמָּ֑וֶת אֶת עֵינִ֥י מִן דִּ֝מְעָ֗ה אֶת רַגְלִ֗י מִדֶּֽחִי׃

KJVFor thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling;

אֶתְהַלֵּ֗ךְ לִ֭פְנֵי יְהוָ֑ה בְּ֝אַרְצ֗וֹת הַחַיִּֽים׃

KJVI will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.

הֶ֭אֱמַנְתִּי כִּ֣י אֲדַבֵּ֑ר אֲנִ֖י עָנִ֣יתִי מְאֹֽד׃

KJVI believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:

I believed, even when I spoke: I am greatly afflicted;

אֲנִ֣י אָ֭מַרְתִּי בְחָפְזִ֑י כָּ֝ל הָאָדָ֗ם כֹּזֵֽב׃

KJVI said in my haste, All men are liars.

I said in my alarm: All mankind are liars.

מָ֥ה אָשִׁ֗יב לַ֫יהוָ֥ה כָּ֭ל תַּגְמוּל֑וֹהִי עָלָֽי׃

KJVWhat shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?

What shall I render to the LORD for all his benefits to me?

13

כּ֥וֹס יְשׁוּע֗וֹת אֶ֫שָּׂ֥א וּבְשֵׁ֣ם יְהוָ֣ה אֶקְרָֽא׃

KJVI will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.

I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the LORD,

נְדָרַ֣י לַ֭יהוָה אֲשַׁלֵּ֑ם נֶ֝גְדָּה נָּ֗א לְכָל עַמּֽוֹ׃

KJVI will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

I will pay my vows to the LORD in the presence of all his people.

15

יָקָ֥ר בְּ֭עֵינֵי יְהוָ֑ה הַ֝מָּ֗וְתָה לַחֲסִידָֽיו׃

KJVPrecious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

16

אָ֭נָּה יְהוָ֗ה כִּי אֲנִ֣י עַבְדֶּ֑ךָ אֲנִי עַ֭בְדְּךָ בֶּן אֲמָתֶ֗ךָ פִּ֝תַּ֗חְתָּ לְמוֹסֵרָֽי׃

KJVO LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.

O LORD, I am your servant; I am your servant, the son of your maidservant. You have loosed my bonds.

לְ֭ךָ אֶ֣זְבַּח זֶ֣בַח תּוֹדָ֑ה וּבְשֵׁ֥ם יְ֝הוָ֗ה אֶקְרָֽא׃

KJVI will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.

I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving and call on the name of the LORD.

נְדָרַ֣י לַ֭יהוָה אֲשַׁלֵּ֑ם נֶ֝גְדָּה נָּ֗א לְכָל עַמּֽוֹ׃

KJVI will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

I will pay my vows to the LORD in the presence of all his people,

בְּחַצְרוֹת֮ בֵּ֪ית יְה֫וָ֥ה בְּ֭תוֹכֵכִי יְרוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם הַ֝לְלוּ יָֽהּ׃

KJVIn the courts of the LORD's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.

in the courts of the house of the LORD, in your midst, O Jerusalem. Praise the LORD!
