הַ֥לְלוּ יָ֨הּ ׀ שִׁ֣ירוּ לַ֭יהוָה שִׁ֣יר חָדָ֑שׁ תְּ֝הִלָּת֗וֹ בִּקְהַ֥ל חֲסִידִֽים׃

KJVPraise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.

Praise the LORD! Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise in the assembly of the godly!

יִשְׂמַ֣ח יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל בְּעֹשָׂ֑יו בְּנֵ֥י צִ֝יּ֗וֹן יָגִ֥ילוּ בְמַלְכָּֽם׃

KJVLet Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

Let Israel be glad in his Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King!

יְהַלְל֣וּ שְׁמ֣וֹ בְמָח֑וֹל בְּתֹ֥ף וְ֝כִנּ֗וֹר יְזַמְּרוּ לֽוֹ׃

KJVLet them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

Let them praise his name with dancing, making melody to him with tambourine and lyre!

כִּי רוֹצֶ֣ה יְ֭הוָה בְּעַמּ֑וֹ יְפָאֵ֖ר עֲנָוִ֣ים בִּישׁוּעָֽה׃

KJVFor the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

For the LORD takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with salvation.

יַעְלְז֣וּ חֲ֭סִידִים בְּכָב֑וֹד יְ֝רַנְּנ֗וּ עַל מִשְׁכְּבוֹתָֽם׃

KJVLet the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

Let the godly exult in glory; let them sing for joy on their beds.

רוֹמְמ֣וֹת אֵ֭ל בִּגְרוֹנָ֑ם וְחֶ֥רֶב פִּ֝יפִיּ֗וֹת בְּיָדָֽם׃

KJVLet the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;

Let the high praises of God be in their throats and two-edged swords in their hands,

לַֽ֭עֲשׂוֹת נְקָמָ֣ה בַּגּוֹיִ֑ם תּ֝וֹכֵח֗וֹת בַּל אֻמִּֽים׃

KJVTo execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

to execute vengeance on the nations and punishments on the peoples,

לֶאְסֹ֤ר מַלְכֵיהֶ֨ם ׀ בְּ֘זִקִּ֤ים וְנִכְבְּדֵיהֶ֗ם בְּכַבְלֵ֥י בַרְזֶ֑ל׃

KJVTo bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

to bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron,

לַֽ֭עֲשׂוֹת בָּהֶ֣ם מִשְׁפָּ֣ט כָּת֑וּב הָד֤ר ה֥וּא לְכָל חֲסִידָ֗יו הַ֝לְלוּ יָֽהּ׃

KJVTo execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

to execute on them the judgment written! This is honor for all his godly ones. Praise the LORD!
