לַמְנַצֵּ֬חַ לְעֶ֣בֶד יְהוָ֗ה לְדָוִֽד׃

KJVTo the chief Musician, A Psalm of David the servant of the LORD.

To the choirmaster. Of David, the servant of the LORD.

נְאֻ֤ם פֶּ֨שַׁע ׀ לָרָשָׁ֗ע בְּקֶ֣רֶב לִ֭בִּי אֵין פַּ֥חַד אֱלֹהִ֗ים לְנֶגֶד עֵינָֽיו׃

KJVThe transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.

Transgression speaks to the wicked deep in his heart; there is no fear of God before his eyes.

כִּ֤י הֶחֱלִ֥יק אֵלָ֗יו בְּ֭עֵינָיו לִמְצֹ֥א עֲוֹנ֗וֹ לִשְׂנֹֽא׃

KJVFor he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.

For he flatters himself in his own eyes that his iniquity cannot be found out and hated.

דִּבְרֵי פִ֭יו אָ֣וֶן וּמִרְמָ֑ה חָדַ֥ל לְ֝הַשְׂכִּ֗יל לְהֵיטִֽיב׃

KJVThe words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.

The words of his mouth are trouble and deceit; he has ceased to act wisely and do good.

אָ֤וֶן ׀ יַחְשֹׁ֗ב עַ֭ל מִשְׁכָּב֑וֹ יִתְיַצֵּ֥ב עַ֝ל דֶּ֗רֶךְ לֹא טֽוֹב רָ֗ע לֹ֣א יִמְאָֽס׃

KJVHe deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.

He plots trouble while on his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he does not reject evil.

יְהוָ֗ה בַּ֭הַשָּׁמַיִם חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ אֱ֝מוּנָתְךָ֗ עַד שְׁחָקִֽים׃

KJVThy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.

Your steadfast love, O LORD, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds.

צִדְקָתְךָ֨ ׀ כְּהַרְרֵי אֵ֗ל מִשְׁפָּ֥טְֽךָ תְּה֑וֹם רַ֝בָּ֗ה אָדָ֥ם וּבְהֵמָ֗ה תוֹשִׁ֣יעַ יְהוָֽה׃

KJVThy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.

Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; your judgments are like the great deep; man and beast you save, O LORD.

מַה יָּקָ֥ר חַסְדְּךָ֗ אֱלֹ֫הִ֥ים וּבְנֵ֥י אָדָ֑ם בְּצֵ֥ל כְּ֝נָפֶ֗יךָ יֶחֱסָיֽוּן׃

KJVHow excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.

How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings.

יִ֭רְוְיֻן מִדֶּ֣שֶׁן בֵּיתֶ֑ךָ וְנַ֥חַל עֲ֝דָנֶ֗יךָ תַשְׁקֵֽם׃

KJVThey shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.

They feast on the abundance of your house, and you give them drink from the river of your delights.

כִּֽי עִמְּךָ֥ מְקוֹר חַיִּ֑ים בְּ֝אוֹרְךָ֗ נִרְאֶה אֽוֹר׃

KJVFor with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.

For with you is the fountain of life; in your light do we see light.

מְשֹׁ֣ךְ חַ֭סְדְּךָ לְיֹדְעֶ֑יךָ וְ֝צִדְקָתְךָ֗ לְיִשְׁרֵ֥י לֵֽב׃

KJVO continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.

Oh, continue your steadfast love to those who know you, and your righteousness to the upright of heart!

אַל תְּבוֹאֵ֣נִי רֶ֣גֶל גַּאֲוָ֑ה וְיַד רְשָׁעִ֗ים אַ֣ל תְּנִדֵֽנִי׃

KJVLet not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.

Let not the foot of arrogance come upon me, nor the hand of the wicked drive me away.

שָׁ֤ם נָפְל֣וּ פֹּ֣עֲלֵי אָ֑וֶן דּ֝וּחוּ וְלֹ֣א יָכְל֣וּ קֽוּם׃

KJVThere are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.

There the evildoers lie fallen; they are thrust down, unable to rise.
