לַמְנַצֵּ֬חַ מִזְמ֖וֹר לְדָוִֽד׃
KJVTo the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.
To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David.
2
אַשְׁרֵ֗י מַ֫שְׂכִּ֥יל אֶל דָּ֑ל בְּי֥וֹם רָ֝עָ֗ה יְמַלְּטֵ֥הוּ יְהוָֽה׃
KJVBlessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
Blessed is the one who considers the poor! In the day of trouble the LORD delivers him;

יְהוָ֣ה יִ֭שְׁמְרֵהוּ וִֽיחַיֵּ֗הוּ וְאֻשַּׁ֥ר בָּאָ֑רֶץ וְ֝אַל תִּתְּנֵ֗הוּ בְּנֶ֣פֶשׁ אֹיְבָֽיו׃
KJVThe LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.
the LORD protects him and keeps him alive; he is called blessed in the land; you do not give him up to the will of his enemies.

יְהוָ֗ה יִ֫סְעָ֥דֶנּוּ עַל עֶ֥רֶשׂ דְּוָי֑ כָּ֝ל מִ֗שְׁכָּב֗וֹ הָפַ֥כְתָּ בְחָלְיֽוֹ׃
KJVThe LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.
The LORD sustains him on his sickbed; in his illness you restore him to full health.

אֲנִי אָמַ֣רְתִּי יְ֭הוָה חָנֵּ֑נִי רְפָאָ֥ה נַ֝פְשִׁ֗י כִּ֣י חָטָ֣אתִי לָֽךְ׃
KJVI said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.
As for me, I said: O LORD, be gracious to me; heal me, for I have sinned against you!

אוֹיְבַ֗י יֹאמְרֽוּ רַ֣ע לִ֑י מָתַ֥י יָ֝מ֗וּת וְאָבַ֥ד שְׁמֽוֹ׃
KJVMine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?
My enemies say of me in malice: When will he die, and his name perish?

וְאִם בָּ֣א לִרְא֣וֹת שָׁ֑וְא יְ֝דַבֵּ֗ר לִבּ֗וֹ יִקְבָּץ אָ֣וֶן ל֣וֹ יֵצֵ֗א לַח֣וּץ יְדַבֵּֽר׃
KJVAnd if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.
And when one comes to see me, he utters empty words, while his heart gathers iniquity; when he goes out, he tells it abroad.

יַחַ֗ד עָ֣לַי יִ֭תְלַחֲשׁוּ כָּל שֹׂנְאָ֑י עָ֝לַ֗י יַחְשְׁב֥וּ רָעָ֗ה לִֽי׃
KJVAll that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.
All who hate me whisper together about me; they imagine the worst for me.

דְּבַר בְּלִיַּ֥עַל יָצ֑וּק בּ֝֗וֹ וַאֲשֶׁ֣ר שָׁכַ֣ב לֹא יוֹסִ֣יף לָקֽוּם׃
KJVAn evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.
They say: A deadly thing is poured out on him; he will not rise again from where he lies.

גַּם אִ֤ישׁ שְׁלוֹמִ֨י ׀ אֲשֶׁר בָּטַ֣חְתִּי ב֭וֹ אוֹכֵ֣ל לַחְמִ֑י הִגְדִּ֖יל עָלַ֣י עָקֵֽב׃
KJVYea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.
Even my close friend in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, has lifted his heel against me.

וְאַתָּ֣ה יְ֭הוָה חָנֵּ֑נִי וַ֝הֲקִ֗ימֵנִי וַאֲשַׁלְּמָ֥ה לָהֶֽם׃
KJVBut thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.
But you, O LORD, be gracious to me, and raise me up, that I may repay them!
12
בְּזֹ֭את יָדַ֣עְתִּי כִּ֣י חָפַ֣צְתָּ בִּ֑י כִּ֥י לֹ֣א יָ֝רִיעַ אֹיְבִ֗י עָלָֽי׃
KJVBy this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
By this I know that you delight in me: my enemy will not shout in triumph over me.
13
וַאֲנִ֗י בְּ֭תֻמִּי תָּמַ֣כְתָּ בִּ֑י וַתַּצִּיבֵ֥נִי לְ֝פָנֶ֗יךָ לְעוֹלָֽם׃
KJVAnd as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.
But you have upheld me because of my integrity, and set me in your presence forever.
14
בָּ֘ר֤וּךְ יְהוָ֨ה ׀ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִ֭שְׂרָאֵל מֵ֥הָעוֹלָ֗ם וְעַ֣ד הָעוֹלָ֑ם אָ֘מֵ֥ן ׀ וְאָמֵֽן׃
KJVBlessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.
Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting! Amen and Amen.
