לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ אַֽל תַּ֫שְׁחֵ֥ת לְדָוִ֗ד מִכְתָּ֫ם בְּ֝בָרְחוֹ מִפְּנֵ֣י שָׁ֗אוּל בַּמְּעָרָֽה׃
KJVTo the chief Musician, Al-taschith, Michtam of David, when he fled from Saul in the cave.
To the choirmaster: according to Do Not Destroy. A Miktam of David, when he fled from Saul, in the cave.

חָנֵּ֣נִי אֱלֹהִ֣ים חָנֵּ֑נִי כִּ֥י בְ֝ךָ חָסָ֥יָה נַפְשִׁ֗י וּבְצֵ֣ל כְּנָפֶ֣יךָ אֶחְסֶ֑ה עַ֤ד יַעֲבֹ֖ר הַוּֽוֹת׃
KJVBe merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.
Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me, for in you my soul takes refuge; in the shadow of your wings I will take refuge, till the storms of destruction pass by.

אֶקְרָ֤א ׀ לֵ֘אלֹהִ֤ים עֶלְי֗וֹן לָ֭אֵל גֹּמֵ֥ר עָלָֽי׃
KJVI will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.
I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me.

יִשְׁלַ֤ח מִשָּׁמַ֗יִם וְ֭יוֹשִׁיעֵנִי חֵרֵ֥ף שֹׁאֲפִ֗י סֶ֗לָה יִשְׁלַ֥ח אֱלֹהִ֗ים חַסְדּ֥וֹ וַאֲמִתּֽוֹ׃
KJVHe shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.
He will send from heaven and save me; he will put to shame him who tramples on me. Selah God will send out his steadfast love and his faithfulness!

נַ֭פְשִׁי בְּת֣וֹךְ לְבָאִ֑ם אֶשְׁכְּבָ֥ה לֹ֝הֲטִ֗ים בְּנֵ֣י אָדָ֣ם שִׁנֵּיהֶ֗ם חֲנִ֥ית וְחִצִּ֗ים וּלְשׁוֹנָ֗ם חֶ֗רֶב חַדָּֽה׃
KJVMy soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.
My soul is in the midst of lions; I lie down amid fiery beasts — the children of man, whose teeth are spears and arrows, whose tongues are sharp swords.

ר֣וּמָה עַל הַ֭שָּׁמַיִם אֱלֹהִ֑ים עַ֝֗ל כָּל הָאָ֥רֶץ כְּבוֹדֶֽךָ׃
KJVBe thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth!

רֶ֤שֶׁת ׀ הֵכִ֬ינוּ לִ֭פְעָמַי כָּפַ֣ף נַפְשִׁ֑י כָּר֥וּ לְ֝פָנַ֗י שִׁיחָ֥ה נָפְל֗וּ בְּתוֹכָ֗הּ סֶֽלָה׃
KJVThey have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down: they have digged a pit before me, into the midst whereof they are fallen themselves. Selah.
They set a net for my steps; my soul was bowed down. They dug a pit in my way, but they have fallen into it themselves. Selah

נָכ֣וֹן לִ֭בִּי אֱלֹהִ֑ים נָכ֣וֹן לִבִּ֑י אָשִׁ֥ירָה וַאֲזַמֵּֽרָה׃
KJVMy heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.
My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast! I will sing and make melody!

ע֥וּרָה כְ֝בוֹדִ֗י ע֤וּרָה הַנֵּ֣בֶל וְכִנּ֑וֹר אָ עִ֝ירָ֗ה הַשָּֽׁחַר׃
KJVAwake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
Awake, my glory! Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awake the dawn!

אוֹדְךָ֥ בָֽעַמִּ֗ים אֲדֹנָ֑י אֲזַמֶּ֥רְךָ בַ֝לְאֻמִּ֗ים׃
KJVI will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: I will sing unto thee among the nations.
I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations.

כִּ֤י גָדֹ֣ל עַד שָׁמַ֣יִם חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ וְ֝עַד שְׁחָקִ֗ים אֲמִתֶּֽךָ׃
KJVFor thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds.
For your steadfast love is great to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds.

ר֣וּמָה עַל שָׁמַ֣יִם אֱלֹהִ֑ים עַ֝֗ל כָּל הָאָ֥רֶץ כְּבוֹדֶֽךָ׃
KJVBe thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let thy glory be above all the earth.
