לַמְנַצֵּ֬חַ ׀ עַֽל הַגִּתִּ֬ית מִזְמ֖וֹר לְדָוִ֣ד׃

יְהוָ֣ה אֲדֹנֵ֗ינוּ מָה אַדִּ֣יר שִׁמְךָ֣ בְּכָל הָאָ֑רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֥ר תְּנָ֥ה ה֝וֹדְךָ֗ עַ֣ל הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃

KJVO LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.

O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens.

מִפִּ֤י עֽוֹלְלִ֨ים ׀ וְיֹנְקִים֮ יִסַּ֪דְתָּ עֹ֥ז לְמַ֥עַן צוֹרְרֶ֗יךָ לְהַשְׁבִּ֥ית אוֹיֵ֗ב וּמִתְנַקֵּֽם׃

KJVOut of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger.

כִּֽי אֶרְאֶ֣ה שָׁ֭מֶיךָ מַעֲשֵׂ֣י אֶצְבְּעֹתֶ֑יךָ יָרֵ֥חַ וְ֝כוֹכָבִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר כּוֹנָֽנְתָּה׃

KJVWhen I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;

When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,

מָה אֱנוֹשׁ כִּֽי תִזְכְּרֶ֑נּוּ וּבֶן אָדָ֥ם כִּ֝י תִפְקְדֶֽנּוּ׃

KJVWhat is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?

וַתְּחַסְּרֵ֣הוּ מְּ֭עַט מֵאֱלֹהִ֑ים וְכָב֖וֹד וְהָדָ֣ר תְּעַטְּרֵֽהוּ׃

KJVFor thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor.

תַּ֭מְשִׁילֵהוּ בְּמַעֲשֵׂ֣י יָדֶ֑יךָ כֹּ֝ל שַׁ֣תָּה תַחַת רַגְלָֽיו׃

KJVThou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:

You have given him dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet,

צֹנֶ֣ה וַאֲלָפִ֣ים כֻּלָּ֑ם וְ֝גַ֗ם בַּהֲמ֥וֹת שָׂדָֽי׃

KJVAll sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;

all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field,

צִפּ֣וֹר שָׁ֭מַיִם וּדְגֵ֣י הַיָּ֑ם עֹ֝בֵ֗ר אָרְח֥וֹת יַמִּֽים׃

KJVThe fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.

the birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes along the paths of the seas.

יְהוָ֣ה אֲדֹנֵ֑ינוּ מָה אַדִּ֣יר שִׁמְךָ֗ בְּכָל הָאָֽרֶץ׃

KJVO LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
