Acts 1:20

Γέγραπται γὰρ ἐν βίβλῳ Ψαλμῶν, Γενηθήτω ἡ ἔπαυλις αὐτοῦ ἔρημος, καὶ μὴ ἔστω ὁ κατοικῶν ἐν αὐτῇ· καί, Τὴν ἐπισκοπὴν αὐτοῦ λάβοι ἕτερος.
Gegraptai gar en biblō Psalmōn, Genēthētō ē epaylis aytoy erēmos, kai mē estō o katoikōn en aytē· kai, Tēn episkopēn aytoy laboi eteros.
King James Version (KJV)

For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take.

Modern English

For, Peter said, it is written in the Book of Psalms: May his place be deserted; let there be no one to dwell in it, and May another take his place of leadership.
