Acts 10:2

εὐσεβὴς καὶ φοβούμενος τὸν Θεὸν σὺν παντὶ τῷ οἴκῳ αὐτοῦ, ποιῶν τε ἐλεημοσύνας πολλὰς τῷ λαῷ, καὶ δεόμενος τοῦ Θεοῦ διὰ παντός.
eysebēs kai phoboymenos ton Theon syn panti tō oikō aytoy, poiōn te eleēmosynas pollas tō laō, kai deomenos toy Theoy dia pantos.
King James Version (KJV)

A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.

Modern English

He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly.
