Acts 10:24

Καὶ τῇ ἐπαύριον εἰσῆλθον εἰς τὴν Καισάρειαν. Ὁ δὲ Κορνήλιος ἦν προσδοκῶν αὐτούς, συγκαλεσάμενος τοὺς συγγενεῖς αὐτοῦ καὶ τοὺς ἀναγκαίους φίλους.
Kai tē epayrion eisēlthon eis tēn Kaisareian. O de Kornēlios ēn prosdokōn aytoys, sygkalesamenos toys syggeneis aytoy kai toys anagkaioys philoys.

And the morrow after they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius waited for them, and had called together his kinsmen and near friends.

Modern English

The following day he arrived in Caesarea. Cornelius was expecting them and had called together his relatives and close friends.
