Acts 12:13

Κρούσαντος δὲ τοῦ Πέτρου τὴν θύραν τοῦ πυλῶνος, προσῆλθεν παιδίσκη ὑπακοῦσαι, ὀνόματι Ῥόδη.

And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a damsel came to hearken, named Rhoda.

Modern English

Peter knocked at the outer entrance, and a servant named Rhoda came to answer the door.
