Acts 12:7

Καὶ ἰδού, ἄγγελος Κυρίου ἐπέστη, καὶ φῶς ἔλαμψεν ἐν τῷ οἰκήματι· πατάξας δὲ τὴν πλευρὰν τοῦ Πέτρου, ἤγειρεν αὐτὸν λέγων, Ἀνάστα ἐν τάχει. Καὶ ἐξέπεσον αὐτοῦ αἱ ἁλύσεις ἐκ τῶν χειρῶν.
Kai idoy, aggelos Kyrioy epestē, kai phōs elampsen en tō oikēmati· pataxas de tēn pleyran toy Petroy, ēgeiren ayton legōn, Anasta en tachei. Kai exepeson aytoy ai alyseis ek tōn cheirōn.
King James Version (KJV)

And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.

Modern English

Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. Quick, get up! he said, and the chains fell off Peter's wrists.
