Acts 13:36

Δαυὶδ μὲν γὰρ ἰδίᾳ γενεᾷ ὑπηρετήσας τῇ τοῦ Θεοῦ βουλῇ ἐκοιμήθη, καὶ προσετέθη πρὸς τοὺς πατέρας αὐτοῦ, καὶ εἶδεν διαφθοράν·
Dayid men gar idia genea ypēretēsas tē toy Theoy boylē ekoimēthē, kai prosetethē pros toys pateras aytoy, kai eiden diaphthoran·

For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:

Modern English

Now when David had served God's purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep; he was buried with his ancestors and his body decayed.
