Acts 16:14

Καί τις γυνὴ ὀνόματι Λυδία, πορφυρόπωλις πόλεως Θυατείρων, σεβομένη τὸν Θεόν, ἤκουεν· ἧς ὁ Κύριος διήνοιξεν τὴν καρδίαν, προσέχειν τοῖς λαλουμένοις ὑπὸ τοῦ Παύλου.
Kai tis gynē onomati Lydia, porphyropōlis poleōs Thyateirōn, sebomenē ton Theon, ēkoyen· ēs o Kyrios diēnoixen tēn kardian, prosechein tois laloymenois ypo toy Payloy.
King James Version (KJV)

And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.

Modern English

One of those listening was a woman from the city of Thyatira named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth. She was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul's message.
