Acts 17:3

διανοίγων καὶ παρατιθέμενος, ὅτι Τὸν Χριστὸν ἔδει παθεῖν καὶ ἀναστῆναι ἐκ νεκρῶν, καὶ ὅτι Οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ Χριστὸς Ἰησοῦς, ὃν ἐγὼ καταγγέλλω ὑμῖν.
dianoigōn kai paratithemenos, oti Ton Christon edei pathein kai anastēnai ek nekrōn, kai oti Oytos estin o Christos Iēsoys, on egō kataggellō ymin.
King James Version (KJV)

Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ.

Modern English

explaining and proving that the Messiah had to suffer and rise from the dead. This Jesus I am proclaiming to you is the Messiah, he said.
