Acts 21:30

Ἐκινήθη τε ἡ πόλις ὅλη, καὶ ἐγένετο συνδρομὴ τοῦ λαοῦ· καὶ ἐπιλαβόμενοι τοῦ Παύλου εἷλκον αὐτὸν ἔξω τοῦ ἱεροῦ· καὶ εὐθέως ἐκλείσθησαν αἱ θύραι.
Ekinēthē te ē polis olē, kai egeneto syndromē toy laoy· kai epilabomenoi toy Payloy eilkon ayton exō toy ieroy· kai eytheōs ekleisthēsan ai thyrai.
King James Version (KJV)

And all the city was moved, and the people ran together: and they took Paul, and drew him out of the temple: and forthwith the doors were shut.

Modern English

The whole city was aroused, and the people came running from all directions. Seizing Paul, they dragged him from the temple, and immediately the gates were shut.
