Acts 21:33

Ἐγγίσας δὲ ὁ χιλίαρχος ἐπελάβετο αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐκέλευσεν δεθῆναι ἁλύσεσιν δυσίν· καὶ ἐπυνθάνετο τίς ἂν εἴη, καὶ τί ἐστιν πεποιηκώς.
Eggisas de o chiliarchos epelabeto aytoy, kai ekeleysen dethēnai alysesin dysin· kai epynthaneto tis an eiē, kai ti estin pepoiēkōs.
King James Version (KJV)

Then the chief captain came near, and took him, and commanded him to be bound with two chains; and demanded who he was, and what he had done.

Modern English

The commander came up and arrested him and ordered him to be bound with two chains. Then he asked who he was and what he had done.
