Acts 23:18

Ὁ μὲν οὖν παραλαβὼν αὐτὸν ἤγαγεν πρὸς τὸν χιλίαρχον, καί φησιν, Ὁ δέσμιος Παῦλος προσκαλεσάμενός με ἠρώτησεν τοῦτον τὸν νεανίαν ἀγαγεῖν πρός σε, ἔχοντά τι λαλῆσαί σοι.
O men oyn paralabōn ayton ēgagen pros ton chiliarchon, kai phēsin, O desmios Paylos proskalesamenos me ērōtēsen toyton ton neanian agagein pros se, echonta ti lalēsai soi.
King James Version (KJV)

So he took him, and brought him to the chief captain, and said, Paul the prisoner called me unto him, and prayed me to bring this young man unto thee, who hath something to say unto thee.

Modern English

So the centurion took him to the commander. The centurion said, Paul, the prisoner, sent for me and asked me to bring this young man to you because he has something to tell you.
