Acts 26:23

εἰ παθητὸς ὁ Χριστός, εἰ πρῶτος ἐξ ἀναστάσεως νεκρῶν φῶς μέλλει καταγγέλλειν τῷ λαῷ καὶ τοῖς ἔθνεσιν.
ei pathētos o Christos, ei prōtos ex anastaseōs nekrōn phōs mellei kataggellein tō laō kai tois ethnesin.

That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.

Modern English

that the Messiah would suffer and, as the first to rise from the dead, would bring the message of light to his own people and to the Gentiles.
