Acts 28:5

Ὁ μὲν οὖν, ἀποτινάξας τὸ θηρίον εἰς τὸ πῦρ, ἔπαθεν οὐδὲν κακόν.
O men oyn, apotinaxas to thērion eis to pyr, epathen oyden kakon.
King James Version (KJV)

And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.

Modern English

But Paul shook the snake off into the fire and suffered no ill effects.
