Acts 7:19

Οὗτος κατασοφισάμενος τὸ γένος ἡμῶν, ἐκάκωσεν τοὺς πατέρας ἡμῶν, τοῦ ποιεῖν ἔκθετα τὰ βρέφη αὐτῶν, εἰς τὸ μὴ ζῳογονεῖσθαι.
Oytos katasophisamenos to genos ēmōn, ekakōsen toys pateras ēmōn, toy poiein ektheta ta brephē aytōn, eis to mē zōogoneisthai.

The same dealt subtilly with our kindred, and evil entreated our fathers, so that they cast out their young children, to the end they might not live.

Modern English

He dealt treacherously with our people and oppressed our ancestors by forcing them to throw out their newborn babies so that they would die.
