Acts 7:25

ἐνόμιζεν δὲ συνιέναι τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτοῦ ὅτι ὁ Θεὸς διὰ χειρὸς αὐτοῦ δίδωσιν αὐτοῖς σωτηρίαν· οἱ δὲ οὐ συνῆκαν.
enomizen de synienai toys adelphoys aytoy oti o Theos dia cheiros aytoy didōsin aytois sōtērian· oi de oy synēkan.

For he supposed his brethren would have understood how that God by his hand would deliver them: but they understood not.

Modern English

Moses thought that his own people would realize that God was using him to rescue them, but they did not.
