Acts 8:32

Ē de periochē tēs graphēs ēn aneginōsken ēn aytē, Ōs probaton epi sphagēn ēchthē, kai ōs amnos enantion toy keirontos ayton aphōnos, oytōs oyk anoigei to stoma aytoy.
King James Version (KJV)

The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:

Modern English

This is the passage of Scripture the eunuch was reading: He was led like a sheep to the slaughter, and as a lamb before its shearer is silent, so he did not open his mouth.
