James 3:6

Kai ē glōssa pyr, o kosmos tēs adikias· oytōs ē glōssa kathistatai en tois melesin ēmōn, ē spiloysa olon to sōma, kai phlogizoysa ton trochon tēs geneseōs, kai phlogizomenē ypo tēs geennēs.
King James Version (KJV)

And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

Modern English

The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one's life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.
