James 3:8

τὴν δὲ γλῶσσαν οὐδεὶς δύναται ἀνθρώπων δαμάσαι· ἀκατάσχετον κακόν, μεστὴ ἰοῦ θανατηφόρου.
tēn de glōssan oydeis dynatai anthrōpōn damasai· akatascheton kakon, mestē ioy thanatēphoroy.

But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

Modern English

but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.
