Matthew 27:34

εδωκαν αυτω πιειν οξος μετα χολης μεμιγμενον και γευσαμενος ουκ ηθελεν πιειν

They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted {thereof}, he would not drink.

Modern English

they gave him sour wine to drink mixed with gall. When he had tasted it, he would not drink.
