וַיְהִי בְּיוֹם כַּלּוֹת מֹשֶׁה לְהָקִים אֶת הַמִּשְׁכָּן וַיִּמְשַׁח אֹתוֹ וַיְקַדֵּשׁ אֹתוֹ וְאֶת כָּל כֵּלָיו וְאֶת הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וְאֶת כָּל כֵּלָיו וַיִּמְשָׁחֵם וַיְקַדֵּשׁ אֹתָם

KJVAnd it came to pass on the day that Moses had fully set up the tabernacle, and had anointed it, and sanctified it, and all the instruments thereof, both the altar and all the vessels thereof, and had anointed them, and sanctified them;

When Moses finished setting up the tabernacle, he anointed and consecrated it and all its furnishings. He also anointed and consecrated the altar and all its utensils

וַיַּקְרִיבוּ נְשִׂיאֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל רָאשֵׁי בֵּית אֲבֹתָם הֵם נְשִׂיאֵי הַמַּטֹּת הֵם הָעֹמְדִים עַל הַפְּקֻדִים

KJVThat the princes of Israel, heads of the house of their fathers, who were the princes of the tribes, and were over them that were numbered, offered:

Then the leaders of Israel, the heads of families who were the tribal leaders in charge of those who were counted, made offerings

וַיָּבִיאוּ אֶת קָרְבָּנָם לִפְנֵי יְהוָה שֵׁשׁ עֶגְלֹת צָב וּשְׁנֵי עָשָׂר בָּקָר עֲגָלָה עַל שְׁנֵי הַנְּשִׂאִים וְשׁוֹר לְאֶחָד וַיַּקְרִיבוּ אוֹתָם לִפְנֵי הַמִּשְׁכָּן

KJVAnd they brought their offering before the LORD, six covered wagons, and twelve oxen; a wagon for two of the princes, and for each one an ox: and they brought them before the tabernacle.

They brought as their offerings before the LORD six covered carts and twelve oxen—an ox from each leader and a cart from every two. These they presented before the tabernacle

וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר

KJVAnd the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

The LORD said to Moses

קַח מֵאִתָּם וְהָיוּ לַעֲבֹד אֶת עֲבֹדַת אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וְנָתַתָּה אוֹתָם אֶל הַלְוִיִּם אִישׁ כְּפִי עֲבֹדָתוֹ

KJVTake it of them, that they may be to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to every man according to his service.

Accept these from them, that they may be used in the work at the tent of meeting. Give them to the Levites as each man's work requires

וַיִּקַּח מֹשֶׁה אֶת הָעֲגָלֹת וְאֶת הַבָּקָר וַיִּתֵּן אוֹתָם אֶל הַלְוִיִּם

KJVAnd Moses took the wagons and the oxen, and gave them unto the Levites.

So Moses took the carts and oxen and gave them to the Levites

אֵת שְׁתֵּי הָעֲגָלֹת וְאֵת אַרְבַּעַת הַבָּקָר נָתַן לִבְנֵי גֵרְשׁוֹן כְּפִי עֲבֹדָתָם

KJVTwo wagons and four oxen he gave unto the sons of Gershon, according to their service:

He gave two carts and four oxen to the Gershonites, as their work required

וְאֵת אַרְבַּע הָעֲגָלֹת וְאֵת שְׁמֹנַת הַבָּקָר נָתַן לִבְנֵי מְרָרִי כְּפִי עֲבֹדָתָם בְּיַד אִיתָמָר בֶּן אַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֵן

KJVAnd four wagons and eight oxen he gave unto the sons of Merari, according unto their service, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.

and four carts and eight oxen to the Merarites, as their work required, all under the direction of Ithamar son of Aaron, the priest

וְלִבְנֵי קְהָת לֹא נָתַן כִּי עֲבֹדַת הַקֹּדֶשׁ עֲלֵהֶם בַּכָּתֵף יִשָּׂאוּ

KJVBut unto the sons of Kohath he gave none: because the service of the sanctuary belonging unto them was that they should bear upon their shoulders.

But Moses did not give any to the Kohathites, because they were to carry on their shoulders the holy things, for which they were responsible

וַיַּקְרִיבוּ הַנְּשִׂאִים אֵת חֲנֻכַּת הַמִּזְבֵּחַ בְּיוֹם הִמָּשַׁח אֹתוֹ וַיַּקְרִיבוּ הַנְּשִׂאִים אֶת קָרְבָּנָם לִפְנֵי הַמִּזְבֵּחַ

KJVAnd the princes offered for dedicating of the altar in the day that it was anointed, even the princes offered their offering before the altar.

When the altar was anointed, the leaders brought their offerings for its dedication and presented them before the altar

וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל מֹשֶׁה נָשִׂיא אֶחָד לַיּוֹם נָשִׂיא אֶחָד לַיּוֹם יַקְרִיבוּ אֶת קָרְבָּנָם לַחֲנֻכַּת הַמִּזְבֵּחַ

KJVAnd the LORD said unto Moses, They shall offer their offering, each prince on his day, for the dedicating of the altar.

For the LORD had said to Moses, Each day one leader is to bring his offering for the dedication of the altar

וַיְהִי הַמַּקְרִיב בַּיּוֹם הָרִאשׁוֹן אֶת קָרְבָּנוֹ נַחְשׁוֹן בֶּן עַמִּינָדָב לְמַטֵּה יְהוּדָה

KJVAnd he that offered his offering the first day was Nahshon the son of Amminadab, of the tribe of Judah:

The one who brought his offering on the first day was Nahshon son of Amminadab of the tribe of Judah

וְקָרְבָּנוֹ קַעֲרַת כֶּסֶף אַחַת שְׁלֹשִׁים וּמֵאָה מִשְׁקָלָהּ מִזְרָק אֶחָד כֶּסֶף שִׁבְעִים שֶׁקֶל בְּשֶׁקֶל הַקֹּדֶשׁ שְׁנֵיהֶם מְלֵאִים סֹלֶת בְּלוּלָה בַשֶּׁמֶן לְמִנְחָה

KJVAnd his offering was one silver charger, the weight thereof was an hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them were full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:

His offering was one silver plate weighing a hundred and thirty shekels and one silver sprinkling bowl weighing seventy shekels, both according to the sanctuary shekel, each filled with the finest flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering

כַּף אַחַת עֲשָׂרָה זָהָב מְלֵאָה קְטֹרֶת

KJVOne spoon of ten shekels of gold, full of incense:

one gold dish weighing ten shekels, filled with incense

15

פַּר אֶחָד בֶּן בָּקָר אַיִל אֶחָד כֶּבֶשׂ אֶחָד בֶּן שְׁנָתוֹ לְעֹלָה

KJVOne young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:

one young bull, one ram and one male lamb a year old for a burnt offering

שְׂעִיר עִזִּים אֶחָד לְחַטָּאת

KJVOne kid of the goats for a sin offering:

one male goat for a sin offering

17

וּלְזֶבַח הַשְּׁלָמִים בָּקָר שְׁנַיִם אֵילִם חֲמִשָּׁה עַתּוּדִים חֲמִשָּׁה כְּבָשִׂים בְּנֵי שָׁנָה חֲמִשָּׁה זֶה קָרְבַּן נַחְשׁוֹן בֶּן עַמִּינָדָב

KJVAnd for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

and two oxen, five rams, five male goats and five male lambs a year old for a fellowship offering. This was the offering of Nahshon son of Amminadab

בַּיּוֹם הַשֵּׁנִי הִקְרִיב נְתַנְאֵל בֶּן צוּעָר נְשִׂיא יִשָּׂשכָר

KJVOn the second day Nethaneel the son of Zuar, prince of Issachar, did offer:

On the second day Nethanel son of Zuar, the leader of Issachar, brought his offering

הִקְרִיב אֶת קָרְבָּנוֹ קַעֲרַת כֶּסֶף אַחַת שְׁלֹשִׁים וּמֵאָה מִשְׁקָלָהּ מִזְרָק אֶחָד כֶּסֶף שִׁבְעִים שֶׁקֶל בְּשֶׁקֶל הַקֹּדֶשׁ שְׁנֵיהֶם מְלֵאִים סֹלֶת בְּלוּלָה בַשֶּׁמֶן לְמִנְחָה

KJVHe offered for his offering one silver charger, the weight whereof was an hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:

The offering he brought was one silver plate weighing a hundred and thirty shekels and one silver sprinkling bowl weighing seventy shekels, both according to the sanctuary shekel, each filled with the finest flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering

כַּף אַחַת עֲשָׂרָה זָהָב מְלֵאָה קְטֹרֶת

KJVOne spoon of gold of ten shekels, full of incense:

one gold dish weighing ten shekels, filled with incense

פַּר אֶחָד בֶּן בָּקָר אַיִל אֶחָד כֶּבֶשׂ אֶחָד בֶּן שְׁנָתוֹ לְעֹלָה

KJVOne young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:

one young bull, one ram and one male lamb a year old for a burnt offering

שְׂעִיר עִזִּים אֶחָד לְחַטָּאת

KJVOne kid of the goats for a sin offering:

one male goat for a sin offering

וּלְזֶבַח הַשְּׁלָמִים בָּקָר שְׁנַיִם אֵילִם חֲמִשָּׁה עַתּוּדִים חֲמִשָּׁה כְּבָשִׂים בְּנֵי שָׁנָה חֲמִשָּׁה זֶה קָרְבַּן נְתַנְאֵל בֶּן צוּעָר

KJVAnd for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Nethaneel the son of Zuar.

and two oxen, five rams, five male goats and five male lambs a year old for a fellowship offering. This was the offering of Nethanel son of Zuar

בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁי נָשִׂיא לִבְנֵי זְבוּלֻן אֱלִיאָב בֶּן חֵלֹן

KJVOn the third day Eliab the son of Helon, prince of the children of Zebulun, did offer:

On the third day, Eliab son of Helon, the leader of the people of Zebulun, brought his offering

קָרְבָּנוֹ קַעֲרַת כֶּסֶף אַחַת שְׁלֹשִׁים וּמֵאָה מִשְׁקָלָהּ מִזְרָק אֶחָד כֶּסֶף שִׁבְעִים שֶׁקֶל בְּשֶׁקֶל הַקֹּדֶשׁ שְׁנֵיהֶם מְלֵאִים סֹלֶת בְּלוּלָה בַשֶּׁמֶן לְמִנְחָה

On the fourth day Elizur son of Shedeur, the leader of the people of Reuben, brought his offering

KJVOn the fifth day Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai, prince of the children of Simeon, did offer:

On the fifth day Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai, the leader of the people of Simeon, brought his offering

KJVOn the sixth day Eliasaph the son of Deuel, prince of the children of Gad, offered:

On the sixth day Eliasaph son of Deuel, the leader of the people of Gad, brought his offering

KJVOn the seventh day Elishama the son of Ammihud, prince of the children of Ephraim, offered:

On the seventh day Elishama son of Ammihud, the leader of the people of Ephraim, brought his offering

KJVOn the eighth day offered Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur, prince of the children of Manasseh:

On the eighth day Gamaliel son of Pedahzur, the leader of the people of Manasseh, brought his offering

כַּפּוֹת זָהָב שְׁתֵּים עֶשְׂרֵה מְלֵאֹת קְטֹרֶת עֲשָׂרָה עֲשָׂרָה הַכַּף בְּשֶׁקֶל הַקֹּדֶשׁ כָּל זְהַב הַכַּפּוֹת עֶשְׂרִים וּמֵאָה

KJVThe golden spoons were twelve, full of incense, weighing ten shekels apiece, after the shekel of the sanctuary: all the gold of the spoons was an hundred and twenty shekels.

The twelve gold dishes filled with incense weighed ten shekels each, according to the sanctuary shekel. Altogether, the gold dishes weighed a hundred and twenty shekels

KJVAll the oxen for the burnt offering were twelve bullocks, the rams twelve, the lambs of the first year twelve, with their meat offering: and the kids of the goats for sin offering twelve.

The total number of animals for the burnt offering came to twelve young bulls, twelve rams and twelve male lambs a year old, together with their grain offering. Twelve male goats were used for the sin offering

וְכֹל בְּקַר זֶבַח הַשְּׁלָמִים עֶשְׂרִים וְאַרְבָּעָה פָרִים אֵילִם שִׁשִּׁים עַתֻּדִים שִׁשִּׁים כְּבָשִׂים בְּנֵי שָׁנָה שִׁשִּׁים זֹאת חֲנֻכַּת הַמִּזְבֵּחַ אַחֲרֵי הִמָּשַׁח אֹתוֹ

KJVAnd all the oxen for the sacrifice of the peace offerings were twenty and four bullocks, the rams sixty, the he goats sixty, the lambs of the first year sixty. This was the dedication of the altar, after that it was anointed.

The total number of animals for the fellowship offering came to twenty-four oxen, sixty rams, sixty male goats and sixty male lambs a year old. These were the offerings for the dedication of the altar after it was anointed

KJVAnd when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him from off the mercy seat that was upon the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubims: and he spake unto him.
