וַיֹּ֗אמֶר חָלִ֣ילָה לִּי֮ מֵאֱלֹהַ֒י מֵעֲשׂ֣וֹת זֹּ֔את הֲדַ֨ם הָאֲנָשִׁ֤ים הָאֵ֙לֶּה֙ אֶשְׁתֶּ֔ה בְּנַפְשׁוֹתָ֖ם כִּ֣י בְנַפְשׁוֹתָ֣ם הֵבִיאֻ֔הָ וְלֹ֥א אָבָ֖ה לִשְׁתּוֹתָ֑הּ אֵ֖לֶּה עָשׂ֥וּ שְׁלֹ֥שֶׁת הַגִּבֹּרִֽים׃
And said, My God forbid it me, that I should do this thing: shall I drink the blood of these men that have put their lives in jeopardy? for with the jeopardy of their lives they brought it. Therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mightiest.
y dijo: ¡Lejos esté de mí, oh Dios mío, hacer esto! ¿Habré de beber la sangre de estos hombres que arriesgaron sus vidas? Porque con riesgo de sus vidas la trajeron. Por eso no quiso beberla. Esto hicieron los tres valientes.
