וַיַּעֲל֣וּ בְּבַ֣עַל פְּרָצִ֗ים וַיַּכֵּ֥ם דָּוִ֛יד שָׁ֖ם וַיֹּ֣אמֶר דָּוִ֔יד פָּרַ֨ץ הָאֱלֹהִ֤ים אֶת אוֹיְבַי֙ בְּיָדִ֔י כְּפֶ֖רֶץ מָ֑יִם עַ֣ל כֵּ֗ן קָרְא֛וּ שֵׁ֥ם הַמָּק֖וֹם הַה֣וּא בַּ֥עַל פְּרָצִֽים׃
So they came up to Baalperazim; and David smote them there. Then David said, God hath broken in upon mine enemies by mine hand like the breaking forth of waters: therefore they called the name of that place Baalperazim.
Y subieron a Baal-perazim, y David los derrotó allí. Y David dijo: Dios ha irrumpido contra mis enemigos por mi mano, como irrupción de aguas. Por eso el nombre de aquel lugar se llamó Baal-perazim.
