וַיָּ֤שֶׂם דָּוִיד֙ בַּאֲרָ֣ם דַּמֶּ֔שֶׂק וַיְהִ֤י אֲרָם֙ עֲבָדִ֣ים לְדָוִ֔יד נֹשְׂאֵ֥י מִנְחָ֖ה וַיּ֣וֹשַׁע יְהוָ֛ה אֶת דָּוִ֖יד בְּכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר הָלָֽךְ׃
Then David put garrisons in Syriadamascus; and the Syrians became David's servants, and brought gifts. Thus the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.
Luego David puso guarniciones en la Siria de Damasco, y los sirios se hicieron siervos de David y le pagaron tributo. El SEÑOR daba la victoria a David por dondequiera que iba.
