וַיִּרְא֤וּ בְנֵי עַמּוֹן֙ כִּ֣י הִתְבָּאֲשׁ֣וּ עִם דָּוִ֔יד וַיִּשְׁלַ֧ח חָנ֛וּן וּבְנֵ֥י עַמּ֖וֹן אֶ֣לֶף כִּכַּ֣ר כֶּ֑סֶף לִשְׂכֹּ֨ר לָהֶ֧ם מִ֣מֶּסוֹפָּ֣תָמְיָ֡ה וּמֵאֲרַ֞ם מַעֲכָ֗ה וּמִצּוֹבָ֛ה רֶ֥כֶב וּפָרָשִֽׁים׃
And when the children of Ammon saw that they had made themselves odious to David, Hanun and the children of Ammon sent a thousand talents of silver to hire them chariots and horsemen out of Mesopotamia, and out of Syriamaachah, and out of Zobah.
Cuando los amonitas vieron que se habían hecho odiosos ante David, Hanún y los amonitas enviaron mil talentos de plata para contratar carros y jinetes de Mesopotamia, de Aram-maaca y de Soba.
