וַיִּתֵּ֣ן יוֹאָ֗ב אֶת מִסְפַּ֤ר מִפְקַד הָעָם֙ אֶל דָּוִ֔יד וַיְהִ֣י כָל יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל אֶ֤לֶף אֲלָפִים֙ וּמֵ֣אָה אֶ֔לֶף אִ֖ישׁ שֹׁלֵ֣ף חָ֑רֶב וִֽיהוּדָ֕ה אַרְבַּ֥ע מֵאוֹת֙ וְשִׁבְעִ֣ים אֶ֔לֶף אִ֖ישׁ שֹׁלֵ֥ף חָֽרֶב׃
And Joab gave the sum of the number of the people unto David. And all they of Israel were a thousand thousand and an hundred thousand men that drew sword: and Judah was four hundred threescore and ten thousand men that drew sword.
Y Joab entregó a David el total del censo del pueblo. Todo Israel sumaba 1.100.000 hombres que empuñaban espada, y Judá 470.000 hombres que empuñaban espada.
