וַיֹּ֣אמֶר דָּוִ֡יד שְׁלֹמֹה֩ בְנִ֨י נַ֜עַר וָרָ֗ךְ וְהַבַּ֤יִת לִבְנוֹת֙ לַ֣יהוָ֔ה לְהַגְדִּ֥יל לְמַ֛עְלָה לְשֵׁ֥ם וּלְתִפְאֶ֖רֶת לְכָל הָאֲרָצ֑וֹת אָכִ֨ינָה נָּ֜א ל֗וֹ וַיָּ֤כֶן דָּוִיד֙ לָרֹ֔ב לִפְנֵ֖י מוֹתֽוֹ׃
And David said, Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be builded for the LORD must be exceeding magnifical, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will therefore now make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.
David dijo: Mi hijo Salomón es joven e inexperto, y la casa que se ha de edificar para el SEÑOR ha de ser sumamente magnífica, de fama y gloria en todos los países. Por eso haré preparativos para ella. Así David hizo grandes preparativos antes de morir.
