וַיִּרְדְּפֵ֣ם אָסָ֡א וְהָעָ֠ם אֲשֶׁ֠ר עִמּ֡וֹ עַ֠ד לִגְרָ֡ר וַ֠יִּפֹּ֡ל מִ֠כּוּשִׁ֡ים לְ֠אֵ֡ין בָּ֠הֶ֡ם מִחְיָ֡ה כִּ֠י נִשְׁבְּר֡וּ לִ֠פְנֵ֡י יְהוָ֡ה וְ֠לִ֡פְנֵי מַחֲנֵ֡הוּ וַ֠יִּשְׂאוּ֩ שָׁלָ֨ל רַב מְ֜אֹד׃
And Asa and the people that were with him pursued them unto Gerar: and the Ethiopians were overthrown, that they could not recover themselves; for they were destroyed before the LORD, and before his host; and they carried away very much spoil.
Asa y el pueblo que estaba con él los persiguió hasta Gerar, y cayeron etíopes sin que quedara ninguno con vida, porque fueron destruidos delante del SEÑOR y su ejército. Los hombres de Judá recogieron muchísimo botín.
