וַיִּקְבְּר֣וּ אֹת֡וֹ בְּ֠קִבְרֹת֡וֹ אֲשֶׁ֣ר כָּ֠רָ֡ה לוֹ בְּ֠עִ֡יר דָּוִ֡יד וַ֠יַּשְׁכִּיב֡וּהוּ בַּ֠מִּשְׁכָּ֡ב אֲשֶׁ֣ר מִלֵּ֡א בְּ֠שָׂמִ֡ים וּזְנִ֡ים מְרֻקָּחִ֡ים בְּ֠מִרְקַ֡חַת מַ֠עֲשֶׂ֡ה וַ֠יִּשְׂרְפוּ לוֹ֩ שְׂרֵפָ֨ה גְדוֹלָ֖ה עַד לִמְאֹֽד׃
And they buried him in his own sepulchres, which he had made for himself in the city of David, and laid him in the bed which was filled with sweet odours and divers kinds of spices prepared by the apothecaries' art: and they made a very great burning for him.
Lo sepultaron en el sepulcro que él mismo había cavado en la ciudad de David. Lo pusieron sobre una cama llena de toda clase de especias preparadas con arte de perfumista, e hicieron una muy grande hoguera en su honor.
