וַ֠יְבַקֵּ֡שׁ אֶ֠ת אֲחַזְיָ֡הוּ וַ֠יִּלְכְּד֡וּהוּ וְ֠הוּא מִ֠תְחַ֠בֵּ֡א בְּ֠שֹׁמְר֡וֹן וַ֠יְבִיאֻ֡הוּ אֶ֠ל יֵה֡וּא וַ֠יְמִיתֻ֡הוּ וַ֠יִּקְבְּר֡וּהוּ כִּ֠י אָמְרוּ֩ בֶ֨ן יְ֠הוֹשָׁ֠פָ֡ט ה֠וּא אֲשֶׁ֠ר דָּ֠רַ֠שׁ אֶ֠ת יְהוָ֡ה בְּ֠כָ֠ל לְ֠בָב֡וֹ וְ֠אֵ֡ין לְ֠בֵ֠ית אֲחַזְיָ֡הוּ לַ֠עְצֹ֠ר כֹּ֠חַ לַ֠מַּמְלָכָֽה׃
And he sought Ahaziah: and they caught him, (for he was hid in Samaria,) and brought him to Jehu: and when they had slain him, they buried him: Because, said they, he is the son of Jehoshaphat, who sought the LORD with all his heart. So the house of Ahaziah had no power to keep still the kingdom.
Buscó a Ocozías, y lo capturaron mientras se escondía en Samaria; lo llevaron ante Jehú y lo ejecutaron. Lo sepultaron, porque dijeron: Es nieto de Josafat, quien buscó al SEÑOR con todo su corazón. Y la casa de Ocozías no tenía a nadie capaz de gobernar el reino.
