וַ֠יַּ֡עַשׂ בִּ֠ירוּשָׁלַ֡͏ִם חִשְּׁבֹנ֡וֹת מַחֲשֶׁ֡בֶת חוֹשֵׁ֡ב לִ֠הְי֡וֹת עַ֠ל הַ֠מִּגְדָּל֡וֹת וְ֠עַ֠ל הַ֠פִּ֠נּ֡וֹת לִ֠רְמ֡וֹא בַ֠חִצִּ֡ים וּ֠בַ֠אֲבָנִ֡ים גְּדֹל֡וֹת וַ֠יֵּצֵ֡א שְׁמ֡וֹ עַ֠ד לְ֠מֵרָ֠חוֹק֩ כִּ֨י הִ֠פְלִ֡יא לְ֠הֵ֡עָזֵר עַ֠ד כִּ֠י חָ֠זָֽק׃
And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong.
En Jerusalén fabricó máquinas, inventadas por hombres hábiles, para colocarlas en las torres y en las esquinas, para disparar flechas y grandes piedras. Y su fama se extendió lejos, porque fue maravillosamente ayudado hasta que se volvió poderoso.
