וַ֠יַּ֠עֲמֹ֡ד הַ֠מֶּ֡לֶךְ עַ֠ל עָמְד֡וֹ וַ֠יִּ֠כְרֹ֡ת אֶ֠ת הַ֠בְּרִ֡ית לִ֠פְנֵ֡י יְהוָ֡ה לָ֠לֶ֡כֶת אַחֲרֵ֡י יְהוָ֡ה וְ֠לִ֠שְׁמ֠וֹר֩ אֶ֨ת מִ֧צְוֹתָיו וְ֠עֵד֡וֹתָיו וְ֠חֻקֹּתָ֡יו בְּ֠כָ֠ל לְ֠בָב֡וֹ וּ֠בְ֠כָ֠ל נַ֠פְשׁ֡וֹ לַ֠עֲשׂ֡וֹת אֶ֠ת דִּבְרֵ֡י הַ֠בְּרִ֡ית הַ֠כְּ֠תוּבִ֡ים עַ֠ל הַ֠סֵּ֠פֶ֡ר הַ֠זֶּֽה׃
And the king stood in his place, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments, and his testimonies, and his statutes, with all his heart, and with all his soul, to perform the words of the covenant which are written in this book.
Y el rey se puso en su lugar e hizo un pacto ante el SEÑOR para andar en pos del SEÑOR y guardar sus mandamientos, sus testimonios y sus estatutos, con todo su corazón y toda su alma, para cumplir las palabras del pacto que estaban escritas en este libro.
