וַיַּ֩עֲמֵ֨ד כְּמִשְׁפַּ֤ט דָּוִיד אָבִיו֙ אֶ֣ת מַחְלְקוֹת הַכֹּהֲנִ֔ים עַ֣ל עֲבֹדָתָ֑ם וְהַלְוִיִּ֗ם עַ֠ל מִ֠שְׁמְרוֹתָ֡ם לְ֠הַלֵּ֠ל וּלְ֠שָׁרֵ֡ת נֶ֣גֶד הַכֹּהֲנִ֡ים לִ֠דְבַ֠ר יוֹם בְּיוֹמ֡וֹ וְ֠הַשּׁוֹעֲרִ֡ים בְּ֠מַחְלְקוֹתָ֡ם לְשַׁ֣עַר וָ֣שַׁ֡עַר כִּ֣י כֵ֣ן מִצְוַ֣ת דָּ֠וִ֠יד אִ֠ישׁ הָ֠אֱלֹהִֽים׃
And he appointed, according to the order of David his father, the courses of the priests to their service, and the Levites to their charges, to praise and minister before the priests, as the duty of every day required: the porters also by their courses at every gate: for so had David the man of God commanded.
Conforme a la disposición de David su padre, estableció las divisiones de los sacerdotes para su servicio, y los levitas para sus cargos de alabanza y ministerio delante de los sacerdotes según lo que cada día requería, y los porteros en sus divisiones para cada puerta, porque así lo había mandado David, el hombre de Dios.
