וָאֶשְׁמַ֞ע אֶת הָאִ֤ישׁ לְבוּשׁ הַבַּדִּים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר מִמַּ֣עַל לְמֵימֵ֣י הַיְאֹ֔ר וַיָּ֧רֶם יְמִינ֛וֹ וּשְׂמֹאל֖וֹ אֶל הַשָּׁמַ֑יִם וַיִּשָּׁבַ֤ע בְּחֵי הָעוֹלָם֙ כִּ֣י לְמוֹעֵ֣ד מֽוֹעֲדִ֡ים וָחֵ֡צִי וּכְכַלּ֣וֹת נַפֵּ֣ץ יַד עַם קֹ֡דֶשׁ תִּכְלֶ֡ינָה כָל אֵֽלֶּה׃
And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
Y oí al hombre vestido de lino, que estaba sobre las aguas del río, el cual alzó su mano derecha y su mano izquierda al cielo y juró por el que vive para siempre, que será por tiempo, tiempos y la mitad de un tiempo. Y cuando se acabe el quebrantamiento del poder del pueblo santo, todas estas cosas serán cumplidas.
