עֲנ֤וֹ כַשְׂדָּאֵי֙ קֳדָ֣ם מַלְכָּ֔א וְאָמְרִ֕ין לָ֥א אִיתַ֛י אֱנָ֖שׁ עַל יַבֶּשְׁתָּ֑א דִּי מִלַּ֤ת מַלְכָּא֙ יוּכַ֣ל לְהַחֲוָיָ֔ה כָּל קֳבֵל֙ דִּ֣י כָל מֶ֣לֶךְ רַ֔ב וְשַׁלִּ֕יט מִלָּ֛ה כִּדְנָ֥ה לָ֣א שְׁאֵ֔ל מִֽן חַרְטֹ֖ם וְאָשַׁ֥ף וְכַשְׂדָּֽי׃
The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king's matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean.
Los caldeos respondieron al rey: No hay nadie en la tierra que pueda responder a lo que el rey pide, pues ningún rey grande y poderoso ha pedido tal cosa a ningún mago, adivino o caldeo.
