וַאֲנָ֣ה שִׁמְעֵ֣ת עֲלָ֡ךְ דִּ֣י תוּכַ֣ל פִּשְׁרִ֣ין לְמִפְשַׁ֡ר וְקִטְרִ֡ין לְמִשְׁרֵ֡א כְּעַ֣ן הֵ֣ן תוּכַ֣ל כְּתָבָ֣א לְמִקְרֵ֡א וּפִשְׁרֵ֣הּ לְהוֹדָעוּתַ֡נִי אַרְגְּוָנָ֣א תִלְבַּ֡שׁ וְהַמְנִיכָ֣א דַהֲבָ֣א עַל צַוְּארָ֡ךְ וְתַלְתָּ֣א בְמַלְכוּתָ֣א תִשְׁלַֽט׃
And I have heard of thee, that thou canst make interpretations, and dissolve doubts: now if thou canst read the writing, and make known to me the interpretation thereof, thou shalt be clothed with scarlet, and have a chain of gold about thy neck, and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom.
He oído que tú puedes dar interpretaciones y resolver problemas difíciles. Ahora bien, si puedes leer la escritura y darme su interpretación, serás vestido de púrpura y tendrás una cadena de oro al cuello, y serás el tercer gobernante del reino.
