וּכְמִקְרְבֵ֣הּ לְגֻבָּ֡א לְדָנִיֵּ֡אל בְּקָל עֲצִ֡יב זְעִ֡ק עָנֵ֣ה מַלְכָּ֣א וְאָמַ֣ר לְדָנִיֵּ֡אל דָּנִיֵּ֡אל עֶ֣בֶד אֱלָהָ֣א חַיָּ֡א אֱלָהָ֡ךְ דִּ֣י פָלַ֣ח לֵ֡הּ בִּתְדִ֣ירָ֡א הֽוּ שֵׁיזְבִ֡נָּךְ מִן אַרְיָוָתָ֡א׃
And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?
Al acercarse al foso donde estaba Daniel, llamó con voz angustiada. El rey le dijo a Daniel: Daniel, siervo del Dios viviente, ¿tu Dios, a quien sirves continuamente, ha podido librarte de los leones?
