בִּשְׁנַ֣ת אַחַ֔ת לְמָלְכ֑וֹ אֲנִ֣י דָנִיֵּ֗אל בִּינֹ֣תִי בַסְּפָרִ֗ים מִסְפַּ֤ר הַשָּׁנִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֨ר הָיָ֤ה דְבַר יְהוָה֙ אֶל יִרְמְיָ֣ה הַנָּבִ֔יא לְמַלֹּ֛אות לְחָרְב֥וֹת יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם שִׁבְעִ֥ים שָׁנָֽה׃
In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.
en el primer año de su reinado, yo Daniel, medité en los libros el número de los años de que habló el SEÑOR al profeta Jeremías, que habían de transcurrir para que las desolaciones de Jerusalén se cumpliesen, es decir, setenta años.
