לְךָ֤ אֲדֹנָי֙ הַצְּדָקָ֔ה וְלָ֙נוּ֙ בֹּ֣שֶׁת הַפָּנִ֔ים כַּיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּ֖ה לְאִ֣ישׁ יְהוּדָ֑ה וּלְיֹשְׁבֵ֣י יְרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם וּלְכָל יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל הַקְּרֹבִים֙ וְהָרְחֹקִ֔ים בְּכָל הָאֲרָצ֗וֹת אֲשֶׁ֨ר הִדַּ֣חְתָּם שָׁ֔ם בְּמַעֲלָ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר מָעֲלוּ בָֽךְ׃
O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.
A ti, Señor, te pertenece la justicia, pero a nosotros la vergüenza en el rostro, como ocurre hoy con los hombres de Judá, los habitantes de Jerusalén y todo Israel, los cercanos y los lejanos, en todos los países adonde los has expulsado, por las infidelidades que cometieron contra ti.
